The remote estate provides 24-hour security with cameras throughout the estate to ensure you and your family’s safety during your stay. Although this is a remote estate you are within walking distance to a private beach as well as many walking paths within the reserve where you can keep an eye out for Rooi Duiker Bokkie, tortoises, ostriches or enjoy the abundance of wildflowers and natural fynbos. Neighboring towns would be Melkbos, Yserfontein and Darling, all are about 30km away, and you will find everything you need as there are no shops in Grotto Bay.

Sand Plover 85 features an open plan design, creating a beautiful flow to the property, with white finishes and hints of wood it’s the perfect atmosphere for a beachside getaway. Guests are offered a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher and coffee machine as well as a scullery area to keep any mess out of sight.
