Nothing like starting your day with a steamy cup of coffee or a refreshing smoothie on the balcony, right? Take in the unforgettable beach and ocean views from your private balcony as you plan your next moves. The open floor plan of this condo makes it easy to share fun times with your family or friends. While your guests relax in the living room, either watching or streaming something on the flatscreen TV or browsing on their phones using the free WiFi to search for the most popular restaurants, you can put on the chef's apron and treat them to a savory meal prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. The six-person dining table is just ideal for family meals, but if you all are in a rush, the breakfast bar also has enough space for four people.

Additionally, guests will be granted access to shared amenities, including charcoal grills, a rec center, and an outdoor swimming pool.

THINGS TO KNOW
Effective immediately, all parking passes will need to be purchased online and no parking is allowed on site without doing so. After booking, Vacasa will register you in the HOA's parking system (VRPS). Before your arrival you will receive an email to pay for your parking pass(es) and put them on hold for your stay. This is an HOA imposed fee and Vacasa does not receive this. The reservation holder must be 25 years of age or older in order to obtain parking passes.
This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A great view!
The apartment was beautiful. You can see the beach from your balcony! Access to the beach was perfect. You can grill. The pool was great. Please bring your own cleaning products. They weren't supplied for the bathrooms. The middle bedroom didn't offer cable, but the other rooms did. They did respond immediately to any issues, we had about the property. I would stay here again!

I really liked the property. It was nice and clean. Everyone there was nice and respectable. The only thing i didn't like was they only allowed you one parking space. We needed two become we had more then one vehicle. We had to find a safe place to park the other vehicle.

Great Shrimp Fest Location! Closest to main beach on west side.
Nice side balcony - 4th Floor - ocean view with high chairs and tables. Lots of windows/light. Front bedroom has views of main beach. Large TV - great for football games watching. Kitchen well stocked. Living room couch/chairs a bit worn - need replacing. While it was booked through VRBO - it is managed by Vacasa (which brought Meyer - local Gulf Shores Company) and customer service is located in OR. Communication is through the App. No one local to talk with if questions. Too many fees with 3 involved - Owner/VRBO/Vacasa plus taxes of course.

Neat well furnished 3 bed condo in gulf side building
Island winds east 411 is well furnished and maintained, as well as stocked nicely for a family looking for a 3 bedroom condo on the gulf side of gulf shores. It does not have a direct gulf view but can be slightly seen from the side. The process with working through Vacasa rentals was literally painless and when we had an issue they responded immediately. This was the easiest rental we ever had.

At check in we found some food pieces at the base of the kitchen cabinets in the corners. Looked like cracker crumbs. We swept that floor. Also, there were no wash clothes in the bathrooms. We purchased a few.

Nice Condo, perfect location
This condo is in the perfect location. You can see the beach from the large balcony! The kitchen pots and pans could use some updating. The pullout sofa can’t be slept on because it’s not comfy, and there were no sheets in the rental for it. The main bedrooms are comfy with large TV’s plenty of storage, clean, and nice. I would totally stay in this condo again.

Good location, but not very clean.
This place is a perfect location for all the fun things and places to see. We were extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the property. Our floors were absolutely disgusting and filled with dirt. Silverware was put back into drawers dirty and not cleaned. Kitchen items like pans and amenities were either rusted or missing. We also had stained sheets that we had to rewash. And to top it all off our washer and dryer sounded like it was about to blow up. We had to do laundry when nobody was sleeping because it was a nusiance. And of course y’all already know the parking sucks, because it’s a warning right after booking (how convenient). We had a three bedroom and one parking pass. We needed to park down the street and walk, even though half of the time the spaces were available.

It’s listed to have a fitness center to find out it does not . Called about it the woman also said it says it has one was supposed to contact us back . Never heard anything . We all wanted a place with fitness big disappointment. No bedding for pull out couch . No extra bedding what do ever ! Got some brought up next day . The cords were not there for all dvd players . But everything else we were pleased with .

The unit was not very clean! Surfaces are clean but floors and furniture and molding needs desperate deep clean I would not rent again. We had left something important behind and was notified immediately about , assured they would have someone check but apparently housekeeping got there before vasca supervisor could . They were notified the day before check out time . So who ever they have for housekeeping is questionable. Communication was poor told someone would contact the next never happen had to repeatedly contact vasca and 3 days later was notified by a Ryan that he did not find what we left behind . 3 days later!!! Please tell me why no one checked immediately ! I authorized to have it delivered overnight . It saddens me they don’t have honest people working for them Jill

This condo was perfect for our occasion. Office located onsite, beachside, balcony has great sideview of beach and street. Walking distance to shops, dining and a market. Definitely our new go to spot.

Overall, this condo was good...not great. Ultimately, it was worth it to be at that location, but next time, we will look elsewhere and avoid renting through the property manager, Vacasa. (Read on if you want more in-depth details.) PROS: great location right on the beach and just a couple blocks from great restaurants and the heart of downtown Gulf Shores. Nicely decorated condo with a stocked kitchen (although a lot of the equipment needs updating) and well-appointed rooms. CONS: I've never rented through Vacasa and will avoid using them in the future. First, you can tell that they don't put the same level of care into upkeep of the condo as a private renter would. The condo did indeed look very nice, but after a day or two of being in the space, you could easily tell that things needed updating or upkeep. (i.e. towel rack in bathroom fell off the wall when simply removing a towel, swivel armchair tipped over when leaning in any one direction, screws fell out of front door when it closed, etc.) No major dealbreakers, but just a lot of small things that added up to make it clear that they don't really invest in their properties. Second, the communication was terrible. We contacted them a week before we came with a question and never received a response. Then while we were there, there was major construction happening on the roof (that they never told us about), which caused the power to go out on our first morning. We called their 24/7 customer service line and sat on hold for more than 30 minutes before finally giving up. Thankfully, the power went back on after about an hour and a half. Also make sure you read all the disclaimers in the property description ... especially the part about that fact that you will have to buy a $28 parking pass :)
