Belle cuisine récemment rénovée dans ce condo en bord de mer propre et étincelant pour la baignade, la plongée en apnée, le canoë-kayak et les bains de soleil. Juste sortir de la plage ou se détendre sur la véranda et siroter du thé glacé et voir les vagues et les palmiers se balancent. outdated building and room
The building is old and under renovation. The area is messy and noisy during the day when renovation is going on. Workers start early in the morning around 8am. The apartment is outdated and very crowded. Tiny ant is a big pest problem. However it is right on the beach. The view from room is not bad. Price is too high for the room quality and amenities.

Oahu Stay
This is by far one of the most unique areas of Oahu, where you were able to visit both the North Shore and South Shores in an hour drive. The private beach location was extremely unique, to be able to walk out the door to the water. We saw plenty of sea turtles and even a harmless shark. Janet provides all the things needed for beach fun, as well. While we were there, there was a lot of construction going on, which we were warned about just a few days before arriving. The work was mid-day, but made parking a little difficult, and some strong smells in the morning. One thing to note, is that this is more of a studio style condo, and the most comfort for sleeping would be the living room futon. The portable AC unit wasn't working for us, which we let Jan know, and tried leaving the condo doors open, but could not get enough breeze to come through - and the mid-day/night downpours would often get things pretty wet. Overall, Janet has everything you need to enjoy the beach and the location is 5 stars. If you're doing Oahu the right way, you should be gone during the day and have the evenings to enjoy the beach, then have a roof over your head.

Right on the Ocean!
My husbsnd and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We love the North Shore and it was close to everything. We had a lovely walk on the beach and enjoyed sitting out on the lanae at sunrise. The kitchen has everything I needed to cook up yummy meals. Its a cozy and stylistically condo. We loved it!

Loved Our Stay!
3 adults stayed comfortably. The location is great, we travelled the North shore all the way down to the southern tip while we stayed here, and it was beautiful. Beach is clean and we were lucky enough to see the turtles. Janet was wonderful, from instructions beginning to end and very quick responses for questions on anything. We were surprised how well stocked the place was and clean. If we are lucky enough to come out this way again, we would definitely stay here. Janet thank you for everything.

Wonderful Beach and location
We had an amazing time during our stay here and have recommended to our friends to book here after coming home. AC is a small room unit, but we found it wasn’t needed with the nice cross breeze coming through. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and had everything we needed to make meals for our family.

Countryside Vacation
The unit was well kept and getting in touch with the hostess is easy. The AC only cools the front of the unit with the ceiling fan on as well. Jan is an awesome hostess. If you have a question she'll answer very quickly. I loved that the unit is situated right off the beach so it is easily accessible. You have access to beach chairs and tubes as well that is provided in the unit. All in all I would definitely stay here again.

All was perfect! Janet has all the little things that make it so much easier. From condiments to beach chairs. Slept well! Loved waking to the roosters. Great location for touring the north shore of the island. The grounds are kept and we felt safe.

Nice condo as base for our adventures on windward / north shore areas. Beautiful swimming and snorkeling beach in front. We spent time at condo beach and grassy area one day. They were doing some work on the exterior of the building, as it is an older property, so it was a little distracting during work hours. The beach is great, very few people and saw big sea turtles each morning. My daughter swam with them one morning. Condo is small and was fine for two people. The bed in the front room was very comfortable for me at 5’5, but too short for my 5’9 daughter. The mattress is on a futon frame so her feet hung over onto the wood frame. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable for her. There is only a small window in that room without a curtain, the porch light shines in, so covered with towel which then prevents air into the room. There are ceiling fans in bedroom and front room. There is a portable air conditioner that we used also. Nice having washer and dryer in condo. Best to use when you’re not going to be in back area as it warms the bathroom especially. Loved that we had access to beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and coolers. Jan was great to communicate with, she was very responsive. If we were traveling to this area again we would come back.

Such a Wonderful Place
Stayed here for our Sons Wedding. Short drive to lots of Fun and Scenic places. Saw sea turtles each night there right next to our beach. Snorkled in our own semi private cove with gear provided with the rental. Security was so helpful with lots of local info. Condo owner was beyond helpful and always accesable for all of our needs. Listening to waves each night while going to sleep was priceless

Pros: -Right by the beach -Friendly people -Security -Easy to access/find -Turtles on the beach -Some yummy food trucks everywhere with a few mins drive -Lots of beach equipment -Wash stations for your feet -Outside of the building is being remodeled/painted -Owner was okay with us staying later check out -Can fall asleep listening to the waves Cons: -Has cockroaches -The apartment needs some renovations/remolding -Mold on ceiling and in the shower fan which is directly above you when showering -Dust/fluff bunnies on the walls and window in the bedroom -Very cluttered with items especially in the kitchen -Door wouldn't lock but owner informed us it's fixed now -Outdated compared to other apartments in the condo that you can rent directly through the condos website for similar pricing -Towels are only washed by guests -View to the ocean isn't super pretty as there's other buildings in the way but you can see it -Sewage smell -Owner asked if we are okay with realtor bringing in potential buyers for showings -AC is portable one and noisy We understand Janet loves her apartment and the area. However, when it comes to customer service it can go from really nice to passive aggressive as soon as you give some feedback or criticism. She is very defensive resulting into "Karen mentality". It's crucial to create good customer relations and making sure customers leave happy, we didn’t get either.
