About this space
Our downstairs unit is perfect for two couples traveling together or a small family. You need a rental car in order to stay with us.
The space
Located on the Denali National Park boundary, this modern 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom unit is perfect for two couples traveling together or a small family.
You will be staying in the perfect location, a short 15-minute drive to Denali's only Entrance Rd. and less than 1-mile from The Parks Highway and the Town of Healy which has a full-service grocery/liquor store, bars and restaurants and all area activities.
Healy is where you want to be, away from the congestion of glitter gulch and all the cruise ship hotels.
We are situated on 5-acres with private trail access to Dry Creek Drainage which has amazing views of the Parks' Mountains and great hiking right out of your door. We are in a tiny subdivision and our backyard is millions of acres of wilderness. We see an abundance of wildlife in our neighborhood.
This unit gives you the feel of being secluded inside the National Park, yet you have all the creature comforts of modern living.
This newly remodeled unit check all the boxes.
We offer a well-stocked full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, High Speed WIFI, Big Screen Smart TV w/Direct TV, ATT 4G and a private deck with a BBQ (propane provided).
Our housekeepers are the best business, you should expect your unit to be spotless. Please read the hundreds of 5-Star Reviews for our properties.
FAQ’s
You will be emailed the exact address and directions to weeks prior to your stay. You will be emailed your personal key code for entry 2 days prior to your stay.
Self-check in any time after 4pm.
Our office hours are 10am-10pm Alaska Time. If there is an emergency after hours call our phone and press #1.
The WIFI code is listed on the refrigerator.
You must have a rental car to stay at our property. There is plenty of parking and we are very easy to locate.
Our property is 4.5 hours north of Anchorage and 2 hours South of Fairbanks. There is only 1-highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks which makes navigation very easy. Follow the mile markers.
We recommend you book your park bus tour prior to arrival
We recommend taking the Park Bus all the way to East Fork. There is only 1-road, so the least expensive bus takes the same exact route as the most expensive bus. You can book all other activities upon arrival depending on weather and your groups desires. All activity brochures are located in the entry way to the house and most are nearby and/or can arrange pick up at the house.
You can drink our water.
We recycle.
We provide all linens, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper.
The Coffee Maker does not need filters and we provide drip coffee and powdered creamer and sugar.
From time-to-time people leave condiments and other non-perishable foods but please do not expect anything in the way of food items to be provided. Please bring everything you will need.
We provide propane for the BBQ.
For larger groups there are 2 other private units located on this property (a 2-bedroom and a 3-Bedroom house).

Off the Beaten Path
15 minutes north of Denali Park. The five from Denali to Healy passes through a beautiful canyon. The condo is a mile off the highway on a rutted, pothole filled road that reminded us of being in the backwoods of Canada. Condo was quiet and the owners responsive to the only issue we had. If you have mobility issues, please be aware that the bathrooms are up 2 steps from the bedrooms. The 49th State Brewery, Rose's Cafe and the 3 Bears Grocery Store are all nearby.

Very clean property. Perfect for two couples. The house had everything you need, even a carport for those frosty mornings. Grocery store near by and close to Denali. Owner was excellent to work with and replied quickly to questions. Would definitely return to this house.

The property was out in the wilderness and it offered a beautiful little trail to take you to dry creek river. The home is perfect for 2 couples. The Home Screen has everything you need to enjoy an evening at home after a long hard day. I would definitely recommend.

Healy hideaway
Nice location just 15 minutes to Denali park but not in the crowded area. Home is spacious 2 bed , 2 bath, very clean and has all the amenities you could ask for. Owner Dave gave concise directions to home and good ideas for activities in area. Didn't realize there were other renters upstairs and could hear them walking around. As 2 adult couples we had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay here, would recommend this property and stay there again. Thanks for having us Dave!

Great property and location for visiting Denali area
The place was perfect for two couples. There are two king beds, two full baths, a nice living area and kitchen, and modern washer/dryer. The property is very rural as you'd expect and there is a path leading to a nearby riverbed that's an interesting hike/walk. It's clean, well maintained/furnished, and the owner is responsive. The entrance to Denali park is only about a 15 minute drive away and there is easy access to grocery, gas, and restaurants. In short, perfect.

Great place just outside Denali NP
What a great find in the small town of Healy, just outside Denali NP. The downstairs unit in which we stayed is clean, spacious, quiet, and has all the amenities. Really appreciated the large kitchen! Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay for access to Denali, as you’re <20 minutes to the park. Plus, the accommodations are perfect. Two bed, two bath, laundry…what more could you need! Clean and comfy. Plus, we saw plenty of widelife in our backyard, including a family of moose!

Apartment was spotless. Beds were comfortable. Blackout shades provided for a great nights sleep. Bathrooms were well stocked with products and linens. The 'neighborhood' was authentic Alaska. Would be nice to have a luggage rack in each bedroom.

A most wonderful place
The unit was very well equipped for two couples with two big bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen facilities were excellent and well maintained. Wifi was excellent. The location was very good being close to Healy village and had that "in the forest" atmosphere. Located at Healy didn't have any negative issues getting to Denali Park which was only a relaxed 10min drive. The provision of a bear attack detterent spray added to the Alaska experience. Recommend a minimum 4 night stay to allow a full exploration of the Park and local area at a relaxing pace. Great location for relaxing stay. Well done to our hosts.

Perfect spot just north of Denali
The property was wonderful. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, laundry and a very nice kitchen/dining room. There is a great patio to watch for Northern Lights or sit outside. The trail nearby led us to a dry creek bed- gorgeous views! We also left a pair of diamond earrings by accident, the cleaning crew & owners found them & mailed them back to us. Top notch! We will stay here again in a heartbeat when we return to Alaska!
