Modern Mountain Villa - Highlands

Our Modern mountain villa – Three Bedroom Two Bathroom - at 102 Cornet Lane in Highlands is 3.4 miles to Highlands city center. Schools and medical facilities nearby. The home has two primary suites each with en-suite shower room and access to the large back porch. The 3rd bedroom suite is located in the mezzanine. The common areas are open with 20' ceilings, transom windows and French doors opening to large back porch. The villa is completely furnished with high end appliances, queen size electric beds, lounge chairs and 8 person dining table.

Parking for 102 Cornet is on the side of the Villa or in front. It would be possible to park two cars.

We are offering our Villa for 1-24 month terms. Terms are 1 month minimum and month to month there after. Guest will pay at move in 1 month rent. If guest are choosing the longer term booking they will sign a lease to the term and pay monthly at the rate associated with the term chosen.
We accept pets max of 2 with a monthly pet fee of 75$ per pet.

You can apply to rent our villa on Zillow if interested in the application form for long term. Monthly rates are discounted based on the term of your desired lease.
Mid Term Rates:
1-3 months: $4950 per month utilities are included in Mid Term lease
Long Term Rates:
4-8 months: $3990 per month tenant pays Electricity
9-24 months: $3600 per month tenant pays Electricity

The ground level “basement” of building is a separate Pied-a’-terre Owners unit that is not part of the villa rental. The Pied-a’-terre Owners unit is used for supplies and to host owners or managers needing to provide onsite management. There is no access between the Villa and Pied-a’-terre they are completely separate units accessible from separate driveways.

Near by attractions

Highlands and the surrounding areas are known for their beauty and tranquility. A big part of the reason is that we're in the Nantahala Forest surrounded by countless acres of unspoiled beauty.

We're also known as The Land of Waterfalls. Just some of our local waterfalls are:

Dry Falls: a 70- 80 foot waterfall that you can walk under without getting wet! (well, almost) Probably our most popular waterfall in Highlands.

Glen Falls: This waterfall has 3 cascades of 60-65 feet, each visible by a steep mountain trail- cool anytime of the year.

Lower Cullasaja Falls: This waterfall drops 250 feet and is visible by our scenic Highway 64- not good for white knuckle drivers.

Whitewater Falls has a 411 foot drop and is known as the King of all Southeastern Waterfalls its located about 45 minutes from Highlands- but worth the trip.
