Boat Ride:
Enjoy a quick 8-minute boat journey to Buck Island from the famous Harbor Town marina, making it the easiest access to a private island you'll ever experience. Our staff will await you at the marina and get your luggage loaded and unloaded on the island, providing a seamless island experience! We provide daily transport on and off the island with your very own fishing boat, center console style, which can hold up to 12 people.

Boat Options:
For those wanting more, you can rent a luxury pontoon cruiser for the week at $4,000, perfect for exploring the surrounding waters at your leisure. This is highly recommended for those wanting to enjoy more time on the water or late-night trips to the many restaurants that offer boat parking. A truly unique experience to park your boat at a restaurant! There is nothing like it!

Parking:
Secure parking is available at Harbor Town, right by Harbor Town Links, the renowned host of the PGA's Heritage Tournament. Enjoy the convenience of leaving your car close to some of Hilton Head's finest attractions. Savor meals at some of the best restaurants Hilton Head has to offer.

Luxurious Amenities.

Historic Main House:
Newly remodeled! Bask in the natural light through expansive windows offering panoramic water views. The living area is bright and airy, with a gourmet kitchen equipped for large gatherings, and a unique conservatory built around a live oak! Five bedrooms each come with king beds and ensuite bathrooms. Almost 10,000 sqft! Each room has an individual thermostat for personalized comfort. Large rec room, huge TV, and pool table! Climb the large spiral staircase to the crow’s nest and walk outside checking out the 360 view of the entire island!

Guest House:
Provides additional space with a living area, full kitchen, and wraparound deck. Includes two bedrooms with queen beds, three full bathrooms, a bunk room with five full beds, another queen, and a playful loft area for younger guests. This house is a perfect house for families with lots of children. They will have a blast! Enjoy the boats passing the island on the hanging swings on the wrap-around deck, which may be the most peaceful place on the island.

Outdoor Recreation:
Engage in activities with provided sports equipment like Kan jam and spike ball, or cruise around the island in our golf carts. Explore the island wildlife, keeping an eagle eye out for the bald eagles that live on the island! Don’t forget to salute! Then spend some time by the heated pool and hot tub! Our favorite is the large Koi pond stocked with beautiful Koi that you can feed yourself! Be sure to chase away Bob the Blue Heron that tries to nab them! Watch for Henry the hawk that lives on the island as well! Listen closely at night as you walk the helicopter pad, and you may see the dolphins as they come close! If you want an adventure, ask us about helicopter tours directly from the island! Max 2 people at a time. Enjoy the enormous decks around both homes, soaking in the serenity of island life! Home Truths:
- Buck Island is your secluded escape with the only access via a scenic boat ride, during which you might spot dolphins.
- We offer daily boat rides to and from the island for your convenience, and for additional adventures, just let us know 48 hours in advance.
- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. However, pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.

Parking Details:
- Park for free at Harbor Town for up to 4 vehicles, with additional vehicles at $10 per day.
- For those needing access to their car during the stay, arrangements can be made.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable plan is included, covering up to $2,000 in accidental damage. Note, that this does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or pet damages and isn't available for stays over 28 days, which require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.

We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
