Coal Bay Cottage se trouve à 100 pieds au-dessus du niveau de la mer est proche de la ville et de la broche, ce qui est merveilleux pour les familles ou les couples qui souhaitent avoir un accès facile aux grandes activités que Homer a à offrir! Il dispose de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains, d'un barbecue à gaz et d'une belle vue dégagée sur la baie de Kachemak, Coal Bay, la broche et les montagnes de Kenai!

The house was nice, had a great layout and a beautiful location! We used this home as a jumping off place for our Homer fishing adventures. Awesome access to the Spit for shopping, and beautiful views all night long. We had moose visit nightly as our highlight!

This was an absolutely wonderful property. It was stocked with everything a person could need and was cleaner than any other place I've stayed. The views were stunning and well worth the price. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

What a view! A stunning property with an amazing view and perfect location. Clean, well-provisioned and nicely appointed. Enjoyed watching bald eagles soar by while drinking coffee on the deck.

Nice Location but the property next door is being cleared
The property next door is being cleared with heavy equipment. They are also using chain saws to cut trees down. I know this will be short lived but sitting outside to enjoy the view and yard is not possible. It was not a pleasant experience for us. We were told we waited to long to make a complaint. We checked in on a Thursday evening, heard the noise from next door on Friday, went for all day hike on Saturday and left to the sound of chain saws, Sunday was quiet, Monday they were back at it so we went to Bishops Beach, and we left Tuesday morning. If you have booked this place, you will see and hear the activity next door. Good luck 🙁

Great Place, Great Location!
We so much enjoyed our stay at Coal Bay Cottage. The cottage is very comfortable, in excellent condition and very easy to get in and out of (no stairs). The location is excellent, with a fantastic view of the Homer Spit, the bay, mountains and glaciers on the other side. It's also close to the airport, Homer and the spit. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Homer area!

This property served our purposes more than expected. Very clean, well stocked kitchen utensils, clean and adequate supplies of bathroom towels, functional equipment, great BBQ grill and more things I am sure!!! Jen was always a timely communicator and went the extra step to coordinate mail receipt for a special occasion. There was a minor plumbing issue that Jen remedied quickly! The setting was perfect and truly set the tone for a peaceful visit to Homer. I would return in a heartbeat! Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 wk stay!!!

Would Stay Again!!
We had a family reunion here and had a ball. Enough room for all and the front porch was awesome. The jacuzzi tub was a big winner with my 8 year old granddaughter. A wonderful time was had by all.

What a beautiful home and location, it was perfect for the 6 of us. Plenty of room, big kitchen, very comfortable beds. The view from the home was so amazing it would take your breath away. We went whale watching, bear viewing, halibut fishing. We had such a great vacation, the home in Homer is conveniently located to shopping, and restaurants. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion I would make is to have darker window shades in the bedrooms for the long daylight hours. With that being said, it in no way hindered our trip and the fun we had. Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful home.

Great home!
Great rental, right on the water with great view of Katchemak Bay. You can’t access the water from the property, as there is a steep cliff, but great views. The home is wonderfully updated and very cozy. Plenty of amenities, and moose right in the yard. Would highly recommend this home to anyone. We had a great time.

This was a great place to stay-we absolutely loved it! Great view!
We absolutely loved staying at coal cottage! The pillows and bedding were so amazing, the appliances were new and the couches are comfy. Such a nice place to retreat to. The tv was a smart tv so not only able to watch tv but also able to get to Spotify and listen to music that matched the mood. Highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for lodging in beautiful Homer.

More like Home, than Home
We absolutely Loved the Cottage in Coal Bay. We have rented 30+ properties over the years and this one is at the top because how well it is furnished. They thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen (that lacked nothing) to an ample supply for key spices and coffee/tea's. Thank you for providing the kitchen, laundry and toiletry supplies. It was so much fun cooking in the large kitchen and I BBQ'd 7 of our 8 nights on the premium Weber Gas Grill. The home is beautiful inside and out and the view is beyond AMAZING. I did not Previously know the Management Team, but Jen and her crew took great care of us and do a great job to make you feel more at home, than home is. Thank you so much for an excellent vacation and we will be returning to do it again soon. The Miller Family 7-24 thru 8-2-18
