Romantic One Bedroom Cabin With Hot Tub and Large Patio

Enjoy a stay at a Romantic and modern 1 bedroom/ 1bathroom cabin with lots of character and full amenities. The cabin is pet friendly and is fenced all around the property, Also, there is another two bedrooms cabin next door that is also available for rental for larger groups. This beautiful cabin is located in the great Fern Valley neighborhood and is within walking distance to Strawberry Creek , shops , Art Galleries, Antique shops and restaurants. It also has a large patio with a new top of the line Jacuzzi Hot Tub/Spa and a magnificent view of Tahquitz Rock and surrounding mountains as well as the evening stars. The patio is ideal for sun bathing, dining, reading, or relaxing.

The cabin itself has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats 4 people, living room with wood burning fire and 1 bedroom with an amazingly comfortable memory foam queen sized bed. The rooms have Dish Network (250 channels) and have a Smart TV with streaming capabilities. The living room has 55'' Flat Screen/Smart TV. The cabin also has wireless Broadband (High Speed) Internet access, two cordless telephones with free local and long distance service in the United States, and washer/dryer. Pet's are welcome for an extra $35.00 fee per pet, expecting your pet is fully house broken, please disclose the pet's breed. Pet's are not to lay on the furniture and bed.
For your convenience, cabin door is open for you upon your arrival and the key is on the kitchen table.

The Cozy Relaxed Cabin
My wife, a teacher requested a short getaway as her Christmas gift this year. I found this romantic cabin in Fern Valley. We reconnected, relaxed, and a lot of fun. The cabin was delightful. The host was kind and responsive. We have marked this listing on Vrbo as a favorite in hopes of returning.

Cute with wonderful hot tub and prime location
We enjoyed our stay very much in this clean and cute cabin. It was close enough to town but still very quiet and nestled in the woods. We did have difficulty with the heater in the living room. It seemed to turn itself off after a certain time at night, on both nights, so we had to use the electric radiator in our bedroom. The hot tub was perfect with Tahquits peak in front of us to admire.

Comfortable Getaway with Great Amenities
We had a wonderful stay in Idyllwild. The rental was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The fireplace and hot tub were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s only a 25-minute walk to town and about 10 minutes to a few great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to friends!

Perfect Little Cabin
We loved this cabin so much, we definitely plan to stay here again! The owner always responded to our questions right away. It was cozy, private, and everything that we needed was provided. I highly recommend renting this cabin!

Rustic romantic cabin in the woods
Idyllwild is a sweet little town and the cabin’s neighborhood was lovely and quiet which was a good thing as the front door lock didn’t work (check in was easy..just come on in). The linens were pristine and the kitchen and bathroom sparkling clean but the kitchen sink did stop working (we hauled hot water from the bathroom to wash dishes in the kitchen.) The hot tub was great and provided great viewing of the neighborhood squirrels in the big trees surrounding the cabin.

Sweet place in the trees
I was a very sweet little place to stay. The hosts were very accomodating and we loved staying among the trees, yet close to town. It would have been helpful to have some welcome information: how to turn on the heater, how to use the apple tv remote, a note that the key didn't work in the front door. Since we got there late on a nite that turned suddenly cold, it would have been nice to have matches, paper and kindling. Still, it was a wonderful place to stay and would definitely return.

Enjoyable weekend getaway
Although the cabin wasn’t ready upon check in (the cleaning crew showed up just as we were expecting to check in at 4p), they were quick and the cabin was clean. The owner was accommodating by letting us check out later on Sunday. The cabin is perfect for a couple. Nice fenced in yard for pets. The jacuzzi was clean. Enjoyed using it in the evening. The patio furniture could use a little sprucing up but it didn’t keep us from enjoying the nice big patio that is surrounded by trees and foliage with many birds to watch. The location is great, very quiet and only a 5 minute drive to town. We enjoy coming to Idyllwild for a nice weekend getaway. Would stay here again.

Great weekend getaway
This is a cozy little cabin, perfect for couples. It is close to town and hiking trails. Both TVs have apple TV, and screen sharing from my iPad made it simple to watch movies and our regular TV apps. It was well-kept and had everything we needed. It was a reasonably cold weekend, so we didn't use the hot tub. Maybe next time.

The house is hugely unlevel. It feels like you are walking on a ship which obviously is a structural issue. My biggest issue was lack of cleanliness and decline in overall maintenance. Old should not equate to dirty. It has potential with a lot of TLC. The yard/deck areas were wonderful.

This was a nice cabin in Fern Valley and the view of Lily Rock from the hot tub was amazing! However, the photo showing a ceiling fan in the bedroom was inaccurate; there is no ceiling fan and the cooling unit in the main room was only fair for a warm September weekend. Overall, we liked it. :-)

The property was an absolutely perfect for a few day get away with our little fam. Super close to town, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Sparkly clean and cozy plus, the jacuzzi under the stars!! Private and fully gated for our dog. We had so much fun we were able to book an extra night!!

Enjoyed the cabin and location. Could not get TVs to work or work properly. The lock on the front door was broken so when we left the place, we could not secure it. Owner (not in town) tried to help us but the problem was never resolved.

Amazing forest vacation
Great vacation for a great price! House was fully stocked with everything we could need, extra towels, kitchen utensils, firewood, and extra blankets. The house was perfect size for 2 and great privacy. Jacuzzi was amazing and the fireplace kept the house toasty. Will definitely be going back for another vacation soon.

Looks Private But Isn’t
I’m writing this review to help others who might be considering this property. First the property is 1-1:30 hour drive from Palm Springs and requires driving through windy mountain roads to get there. Not bad in and of itself but something that is good to know going in that it’s quite a drive to any major town. Next, in all of the pictures of this property it looks like it’s nice and private… what the pictures conveniently leave out (because of the angles used) is there is a house that is less than 20 feet from the back deck (and the hot tub) and the neighbor on the other side’s driveway is less than 5 feet from the living room window. I was expecting far more privacy based on the pictures so I was disappointed in that regards. There is only a single heater/AC in the living room so the bedroom will always be too hot or too cold (they did have a plug-in heater to help with that). Again just something to know. Hot tub was super nice and truthfully was the best part of the whole property. The fact that the hot tub wasn’t as private as the pictures made it seem a little deceiving. The kitchen was a little lackluster in regards to pans and utensils for cooking. The only spatula was one that is designed for an outdoor grill and the kitchen didn’t even have a baking tray. If you don’t plan on doing much cooking then it likely won’t be an issue but something that would have been good to know going in. Now onto the good parts: The hot tub as I said before was great. It’s super nice and we used it every night. Would have used it during the day too but just didn’t feel comfortable with the neighbors so close. The bed is memory foam so it was comfy to sleep in. Was one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in at any hotel or rental house. The TVs in the living room and bedroom were nice and easy to use. Was pleased with the sizes and options. Internet worked well the entire time we were there which was helpful for finding things to do in the area or simply talking to family. Overall, after staying here I personally wouldn’t recommend it or be returning to this property for the reasons stated at the beginning. Expecting one thing and getting something different was really a bummer.
