Walk to the beach, watch the sun set from our upper level covered porch and enjoy the quiet end of Isle of Palms from this family friendly duplex home. This spacious home features a renovated kitchen with an open layout into the dining room and tiled floors throughout. Take advantage of the six miles of wide beaches, fishing, kayaking, boating and eco-tours on Isle of Palms by day and enjoy the fabulous foodie & cultural delights of downtown Charleston or nearby Mt. Pleasant or Sullivans Island at night. Historic Charleston is a 20 minute drive from the home and the beach is a 2 minute walk from the house.

Upon entering the home you will find a family room & dining room area, a fully stocked kitchen, the master bedroom, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and the laundry room on the lower floor. Guests are also welcome to utilize the covered patio with outdoor seating area outside the front door. On the home's second floor you will find the remaining three bedrooms, one bathroom and the living room (with futon). Off-street parking on the driveway for up to 2 cars is included in the rental rate.

Please note that this is a side-by-side duplex unit. The other unit in this duplex is also available for rent. If both units are available for your selected dates, then you may rent both homes for your next multi-family reunion or friends' vacation and sleep up to 20 people in the whole building.

Great location
We had a great stay at this house on Isle of Palms. The house was stocked with everything we needed for the week. It was a very short walk to the beach. The location of the house allowed us to get to all the surrounding areas very easily. We visited Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan’s island and even went to Folly Beach to explore for a day. There was more than enough room for all 9 of us. The only down side was having to shuffle cars around to avoid parking tickets as you can not leave cars parked on the street. There is also a public parking spot about a 5 minute drive into town. The one bedroom shared a wall with the neighbors unit but it was only muffled talking so we suggest giving that bedroom to the early riser of the group.Overall we really enjoyed this spot and would be back next year for some more sun and fun.

Read all the reviews before you book!
The outside of the property was nice and the walk to the beach wasnt bad at all. The issues we had was that the sheets on a couple of the beds were dirty & pillow cases had make up on them and the floors turned our feet BLACK they were so dirty. The walls were extremely thin and we were expected to not make noise after 10pm which with a 7yr old and young adults on vacation was not an easy task and made things quite stressful. The last thing was that you are not allowed to turn the air conditioner below 70 which for the downstairs was ok but the upstairs was miserable and made it difficult to sleep. I personally would not choose to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean and well equipped. Some items and furniture were dated and should be replaced. The upstairs porch was really nice and we enjoyed many hours of sitting in the ocean breeze among the trees. Unit is 2 blocks from the beach but an easy walk. Communication and check in was easy. Overall, a nice vacation.

Location is great!
Rented property for a girl’s trip with sisters and daughters. Location was great! Early morning walks on the beach each day. Close to Historical Charleston. You can sit on the upstairs porch and hear the waves. Only downside was thin walls. (It is a duplex.) And the beds are noisy. But overall, great place to stay.

Nice property two minutes from the beach. Indoor spaces were clean and well appointed. However, some TLC to the outside spaces, doors, and siding needed. Walls are also paper thin, so expect to hear your neighbors in this duplex.

Located very close to the beach on a more private part of the island. The unit had everything we needed but I don’t think they change/wash the sheets after each stay so we had to wash them all the day we got there since they were not clean. Beds were not very comfortable. We had to stay an extra night and the correspondence with the property manager was very quick.

Beautiful home near the beach
Beautiful home and lots of room. We didn't get to spend much time there since our oldest daughter had a ball tournament that weekend. Would definitely stay again. The only downside was the walls were very thin and we have small kids so it was hard trying to keep them quite so they wouldn't disturb the neighbors. Overall experience was great.

We loved how close the house was to the beach. It was a quick walk and not too crowded on the street. The house was fine for daytime, but nighttime was not ideal for sleeping, being in a duplex. Neighbors from the first few nights were up very late and the walls are very thin as well as porch was very loud. Had neighbors again and they were just conversing in the shared wall room and could still here all night. Would use again if there was an easy way address noise problem that would make it easier to not make it awkward with neighbors. Outdoor shower was very nice for cleaning off kids after beach. Fan in queen bedroom was not working properly our week.

Overall Good Stay
The property overall was exactly how they described. The biggest problem was checking into the property and realizing the AC was not working-- so it was 80 degrees the first night. Thankfully, Steve had a few extra portable units installed for that night and we were able to get the temperature down eventually until the HVAC service company came early the next morning. The only other problem was that the walls are paper thin and there was a bachelor party next door that went on late at night throughout the entire weekend. Overall, it was a good place and a short walk to the beach.

Overall, very happy with this rental property. Conveniently had items such as trash bags, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, toilet paper, etc for a short term stay. Clean and well maintained property. Only problem we had was that the beds were not super comfortable, but for 7 women on a short beach vacation it was very manageable. Very easy walk to the beach. Owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was exactly as pictured. The beds were really squeaky (we assumed from mattress protectors. There was same in the beds like in the sheets but it is a beach house so we just did our best to brush it out. The walk to the beach was the best part! The walls were thin so we could hear the neighbors but we were only there in the evenings so it was ok. We loved the rinse off area out back! We would definitely stay here again! Oh and I accidentally locked us out with my phone upstairs(it had the code on it) and my husband texted them and they helped us quickly and were so kind.

Location location location! We truly enjoyed the location of this property to the beach (2 minute walk) and to other locations. We rented this property as a July 4th staycay. Owners very responsive. Church in check out was a breeze.
