Northern Heights Cottage is located on Ashley Lake, one of the treasure lakes of North West Montana. Paddle boards, Canoe, and kayak included in the house rental make it the perfect location for playing on the lake, fishing, and rejuvenating at this wonderful property.
The Space:
Northern Heights Cottage is located on Ashley Lake, one of the treasure lakes of North West Montana just 30 min outside of Kalispell. Paddleboards, Canoe, and kayak included in the house rental make it the perfect location for playing on the lake, fishing, and rejuvenating at this wonderful property. Northern Heights Cottage accommodates up to 8 people in this wonderful 3 bedroom, 2/12 bath home with plenty of room to gather together or relax on your own. It is not unusual to see deer come to check out the tasty yard! There is no sound as soothing as a light breeze in the evergreen trees, water lapping on the shore, and the call of the loons on the water. Located on the west shore of Ashley Lake, just 35 minutes west of Kalispell, and just 60 miles to Glacier National Park. When enjoying Northern Heights you will want to spend all your time at this wonderful hidden gem of a property.
On the main floor, Northern Heights Cottage features an open concept home with the main living area with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need for your time on the lake, including an island bar, coffee station, and more wonderful lake views! Off the kitchen is the large laundry room with side door with access to the lake and outdoor shower area. The master bedroom suite is also located on the main floor, featuring an ensuite bath, lake views, and deck access out the large sliding door.
Upstairs is the family room loft with an open entertainment area, flatscreen TV, and game table. The other two bedrooms are on the upper level along with a full bath with shower and tub. The first bedroom features a queen bed and balcony, perfect for sipping your morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful trees and lake views. Enjoy the great outdoors from the front yard or sit out back on the private deck and dock. The second bedroom is the perfect bunk room with a twin/full bunk, twin bed, and twin trundle.
Please note that this property has no off street parking because the home is located on a private lane. The driveway has parking for up to 4-5 vehicles at the most.
Additionally, we understand that our guests have friends and family in the area but this home can only have a few additional day guests at a time.

This home is equipped with "starter supplies" such as paper, cleaning products, linens, and towels. The kitchen comes with standard amenities, coffee maker, and utensils. Should you need specific items, please do not hesitate to ask and we will supply them if possible.
This home is open for online reservations starting 3 days from today's date if available. For last minute reservations, please contact us via phone or email as the calendar may not reflect all availability.

The Neighborhood:
The home is located on Ashley Lake.
Ashley Lake lies not far from Kalispell up a often bumpy, thirteen-mile gravel road. Despite lying in a national forest, many homes are scattered around the lake, although it is far from being a typical summer hideaway lake. It is a popular lake both for pleasure boating as well as for fly fishing, since very large rainbow trout are often pulled from the lake.
Due to the lakes large size and private property scattered along the lake, a boat is generally needed to successfully fish. Other than motorboats, most boats with good paddling characteristics, such as canoes, inflatable canoes, pontoon boats and inflatable kayaks, all work well. For those with motorboats, a boat ramp is available on north side of the lake.
Getting Around:
You will need a vehicle to get to and from the property as well as explore the area with ease. As a more rural area there are very few public transport and uber like options.
**WINTER ADVISORY**- Please note that October - April we highly recommended a 4-wheel or All-wheel drive vehicle, as you never know what the weather will be like in Montana.

** Please Note, we have a more flexible Cancellation policy than we can select in Airbnb.

If a reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date the reservation IS FULLY REFUNDABLE.
** When booking through Airbnb that our 60 day cancellation policy is what we follow, so you just need to reach out and we will assist in you getting a full refund.
** If a reservation is canceled less than 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date THEN the reservation is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Property Damages:
Please Note, reservations booked through Airbnb are NOT charged a refundable damage deposit at the time of booking. Should there be guest damage, this will be documented and submitted to Airbnb. At that time Airbnb will verify the claim and has the ability to collect the monies to cover the damages.
