It is stone built within the historical village of Koryschades, in the wonderful natural environment of Evrytania. Provides comfort and privacy for Groups and Families up to 9 people.
It is a three-story Villa of 150 sqm of modern construction, respecting the unique architecture of Koryschades, stone built, tiled roof, stone and wood prevail inside, oak floors, chestnut frames, wooden stairs, and paneled wooden ceilings.
The Korfes guesthouse awaits you to enjoy a comfortable stay in its premises, offering peace and relaxation with an uninterrupted view of the green nature, the fir-covered mountains, and the valley (Potamia). Available for short term vacation rental
Description of spaces
1st floor: where your Group meets
Fully equipped open Kitchen with chairs, large dining table, comfortable sofas around the fireplace and the 43” TV. Stone walls, warm lighting, wooden ceiling, oak floors, balcony, and chestnut-framed windows. Bathroom.
2nd Floor: Master Bedroom
It has a double bed with bedside tables, lights, sockets, and mobile phone charger, 32" TV, 2 armchairs, tables for suitcases and a large wardrobe with hangers. Cotton bed linen, face and bath towels, slippers, and hair dryer. It has a large independent bathroom with a shower. Private balcony with view and exit to the patio. A folding bed 80X180 may be added.
2nd Floor: Second Bedroom
It has a double bed with bedside tables, lights, sockets, and mobile phone charger, 32" TV, 1 armchair, tables for suitcases and a wardrobe with hangers. Bed linen, face and bath towels, slippers, and hair dryer. It has an independent bathroom with a shower. Window with a view.
3rd Floor: Suite
Single space of 35 sqm with a second independent entrance from the stone paved courtyard. It communicates and may be completely isolated from the rest of the Guesthouse. It has its own bathroom with a large shower, and a sitting space with a fireplace and a 32" TV. Bed linen, face and bath towels, slippers, and a hairdryer. It has a kitchenette with a refrigerator and the necessary utensils for cooking, coffee, etc. Plates, glasses (water, wine, drinks) and cups. Also folding wall table and chairs for 4 people. The 3-seater sofa becomes a double bed 130X220.
Outdoor Spaces
External stone staircase, with metal and chestnut wood handrail leading down from the street, to the patio, and to the backyard. It is illuminated with warm lighting. The patio has also access from the master bedroom (2nd floor) and to the courtyard from the suite (3rd floor down).
In the summer you can enjoy the outdoor spaces even more, especially the courtyard (with table, chairs, umbrella) and the patio (small table with 2 chairs) next to the arches for storing firewood.

About Koryschades Village
Guest house Korfes is located within the traditional village of Koryschades with its typical local architecture (“politochori”). The stone church of St. Athanasios (1865) dominates the paved square with the huge plane tree and the fountains. Nearby, the children's playground and the historical school of Koryschades, which today houses the National Resistance Museum. Also, the Antamoma restaurant, where you can enjoy coffee, local snacks, local tsipouro and sweets from morning until late at night. Sitting outside in the summer and inside near the fireplace in the winter.
The square is located 300m from the guesthouse on foot, from the old path which starts from the Old Inn Hotel or by car 1.5 km. following the main road.
At the junction of the main Karpenisi-Proussos road towards Koryschades, you will find the two popular hangouts Kasmir and Saloon.

It is worth travelling through the green landscape and the wonderful environment of Evrytania either by car or by hiking on the paths and forest roads. Touring the villages of the area is an experience of sensations, images, and colors, different in each season of the year.
Nearby Routes (up to 15 minutes).: Kefalovryso Park, the villages of Potamia: Klafsi, Voutiro, Nostimo, Mikro Chorio (new and old). Klafsi Bridge - Koryshades Bridge (easy footpath 1:30h)
Longer Routes (up to 1 hour): Prousos Monastery, Mavri Spilia (trail), Tornos (trails), Fidakia Village
Long (over 1 hour): Helidona Mountain to Lake Kremaston, Cyclic tour Klafsi-Aniada-Krikelo (worth stopping)-Agios Nikolaos
Even longer: Viniani, East and West Agrafa “uncharted” Mountains, Panta Vrechi gorge

On a Personal Tone
I am a retired Professor of the University of Athens and now the host of the Korfes Guest House in the beautiful Village Koryschades in Evrytania. It will be my pleasure to accommodate you and your Group. My concern is that you not only have the essentials of a pleasant stay, but also small "luxuries", which I would like to have myself as a guest.
On the first floor, your group may gather in the comfortable living room (TV, fireplace, firewood, etc.), the dining room, the open kitchen and the highchairs.
I have paid special attention to your sleep with comfortable mattresses, cotton bedding, duvets, and pillows. Nothing worse than a bad night's sleep!
Of course, good heating under your control and a constant supply of hot water. The essential Wi-Fi everywhere. Ample warm lighting, that matches the stone and wood of the space. The simple, perhaps somewhat old-fashioned, decoration matches the traditional architecture. For a (time) travel within (space) travel.
Nature has taken care of the view and the environment. You can simply enjoy it from any point of the Guest House if you just turn your gaze towards a window or a balcony door. Every season and a different image. They are all worth seeing!
