Guest House on gorgeous tropical private 3 acre estate perfect central location.

Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, this detached studio guest house is fully furnished, very private, with vaulted ceilings on a beautifully landscaped 3 acre privately enclosed property. Property has a gated entrance with private gate code, grounds security system, over 40 fruit trees and 2 Koi fish ponds. Studio sleeps up to 5 (one queen-size bed, one full-size futon sofa bed, and a single blow-up mattress), has 1 bathroom with shower and kitchen with refrigerator, convection oven, 2 stovetop burners, coffee maker, blender, and all necessary kitchen cooking/eating utensils. Rental also includes a dual washer/dryer unit, clothes drying rack, armoire for hanging clothes, outdoor BBQ, outdoor patio seating and eating table for 4, fiber optic high-speed internet, smart TV, yoga mat, umbrellas and other essentials. Outdoor storage shed has 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrella, coolers, boogie board, 4 adult snorkel sets/2 child snorkel sets, volleyball, and beach toys that can be used by guests of the rental. Studio has a private entrance, parking spot for 2 vehicles, and 180 degree views of the 3 acre property and Koi fish pond from the patio. Pond area has 4 chairs, bistro table for 2 with umbrella, and 2 lounge chairs with umbrella for guests to use. This guest house is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hilo and 10 minutes between the small towns of Keaau and Pahoa. There is also a grocery store and farmer’s market within 5 minutes of the rental. This is the perfect central location for all activities on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii, including sites such as Volcanoes National Patk, magnificent waterfalls, downtown Hilo, and the famous black sand and green sand beaches.

Great spot
Nous avons vécu un agréable séjour chez Jeff et Jenifer. L'hébergement est incroyable avec une attention aux détails exceptionnelle. Les enfants ont adoré les dessins à colorier (faits par Jeff!), les crayons multicolores, les leis de coquillages et surtout la nourriture pour les poissons de l'étang. L'endroit est lumineux et silencieux. Le soir on peut observer les étoiles au son des grenouilles. Les ingrédients de base et la cuisine bien équipée sont également des plus. L'endroit est a une vingtaine de minutes du parc des volcans et à une vingtaine de minutes d'Hilo. Nous recommandons chaleureusement!

Great place and owners!
We had a great stay at Jennifer and Jeff’s place! A very nice vibe, everything was very clean and new. They offer plenty of things to go to the beach like chairs, umbrella, beach toys and coolers (thank you for all this!!!). There is a futon (more confo than a standard sofa bed) a ukulele and suspended chairs outside which is great. Also a all-in-one washer/dryer! 😮 There’s a fountain, a pound, fruit trees for a great, quiet and peaceful yard. The property has a gate which can be appreciated by some as well. The weather was not on our side but that’s sure that star gazing must be incredible there. Jennifer and Jeff are very very nice and welcoming people! We were fortunate enough to hear Jeff play ukulele and sing, that was a great bonus to the already nice stay! That made us feel even more on vacation. :-) That’s a 100% no brainer to recommend!

The property is absolutely stunning, beautiful and private. Its location was perfect for us to explore the Hilo side of Hawaii and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park area. We loved the peacefulness of the view from the guest house and koi pond. It was a great stay...even the coki frogs croaking at night helped make it a unique experience.

Perfect Stay at a Beautiful Property!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jennifer and Jeff's property. I say perfect, because we have stayed at some other rentals in our visits to Big Island, but this one was far above the others - the guest house was perfectly appointed with everything we needed throught our stay. It made us feel right at home! We enjoyed the privacy of our own space, including the lanai, and koi pond just steps away. The property and guest house are beautiful and welcoming, truly paradise. It is also a great location, in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from both Hilo and Pahoa, the perfect home base for our adventures in Puna. If you happen to stay on a Sunday, the Maku'u farmers market is less than 10 minutes down the road, a must for stocking up on local produce and gifts. Thanks again for having us, and we hope to stay again on our next trip to Hawaii! Mahalo!

Heaven on Earth!
This little studio house was perfect for us! It is clean and beautifully decorated. The grounds are amazing and fun to explore. We loved sitting by the koi pond and listening to the waterfall and the frogs. The hosts were quick to answer any text. It was everything we had hoped and more!!!

Truly a beautiful place. A Must stay Island paradise. Every attention to detail made the stay enjoyable. Great library if you want to relax and read. Amazing hospitality and lovely accommodations. The grounds are so relaxing. About a 2 hour drive for big activities on the Kona side, but we got to explore the whole island and thought it was worth the drive.

Amazing!
The property was much more than I expected and in a great location. From the minute we arrived, Jennifer and Jeff greeted us warmly and were helpful in every way. They gave us information on local things not to miss and about the property in general. They allowed us to walk around and look at their great gardens and spend time next to the amazing koi pond. Everything lit up at night and it was relaxing to say the least. The house was well stocked with everything you would expect plus more. Everything was clean and very welcoming after a long day of traveling. There are two restaurants and a gas station just minutes down the road from the house which is great. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful vacation in a tranquil setting. It was hard to leave.

Believe all the rave reviews! The property is quite simply perfect, both inside and out. Spacious, well-stocked, and tastefully decorated, the guest house includes many thoughtful touches and is absolutely immaculate. And after a busy day of sightseeing, the beautifully maintained grounds are a peaceful place to relax. Jennifer and Jeff are gracious hosts, friendly and welcoming but not at all intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Truly a home away from home!
This guest house really has it all! If you love the property description and the listing photos, you will love it even more when you get to see it in person. From the tasteful home decor to the comprehensive guide book, from the fresh flowers on the tables to the Koi fish in the pond, from the little welcome Hawaiian snacks to the ukulele…This home is filled with love and care. Truly feels like our own home on the Big Island. I can’t possibly list all the things we enjoyed about this place. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Spacious and squeaky clean. Well stocked with everything we could think of AND MORE! Only wish we could spend longer here and fully appreciate everything this amazing place had to offer! If we ever visit this area again, we’ll definitely stay at Jennifer and Jeff’s guest house again! Highly recommended.

Tranquil and serene setting in a beautifully landscaped property
What a lovely stay we had . The property is beautiful. It clearly shows that our hosts take time to keep the grounds so well maintained. Inside the house was spotless ! The layout was just right for us. It had everything we needed along with so many other little details that made our stay more pleasant. The swinging patio chairs, the sound of the trickling water feature ,,and well stocked kitchen and bathroom ! Overall 100%loved it

A beautiful little guest house fully stocked, & nicely decorated, surrounded by lush green landscaping with a little koi pond. The guest house is right next to the main house, so the owners are nearby. Not so private in that way, but they are friendly & helpful. Location is a 15-20 minute drive to town. So be prepared to drive to get food & see the sights. If you are leaving from Kona airport give yourself at least 90 minutes travel time & 45-60 mins to clean up the guest house before you go. Also you have to not mind bugs because the guest house is surrounded by grassy land & lots of plants so the critters get inside the house. We only stayed two nights, but there’s a lot to see on the Hilo side of the island so we’ll have to visit again to see more of the beautiful sites!

Excellent in every way!
First and foremost, the grounds are stunning! Jennifer (host) put a lot of thought and intention in the landscaping and it shows. Wow. It was nice to just wander the property. The hosts greeted us upon our arrival and checked in on us every day with lots of useful information. The rental studio itself feels brand new. Everything in it was like new, from the towels to the dishes, even some of the furniture. It was also spotlessly clean. Even though we weren't the first people to stay here, it felt like it! There were books, games, a ukelele, and other items to entertain us while we were at the rental. But best of all was just sitting outside and enjoying the view of the grounds. The location is a little bit of a drive from both Hilo and VNP. But realistically, anywhere you stay on the Big Island, you're going to have to drive. Everything is far from everything else. So we don't count it as a minus unless you're doing multiple days at VNP or doing many activities in Hilo itself. But for a visit to the south/east side of BI, this was a perfect location and perfect studio! Thank you Jennifer and Jeff. - Johnny, Binh, Quynh
