Hidden charges

Pros: Accessibility from motorway. On site parking.
Cons: Mention of additional charge for dog before booking. A clear breakfast menu.
Location: Short journey to Windermere.
Charged £10 extra for dog for one night. Hotel informed about dog on booking but no mention of additional charge. This should have been clear on web booking. Meals ordered were one with new potatoes and one with chips. When meals arrived both had the same undercooked chips. Breakfast was ad hoc with no clear indication what was on offer.
