Also close by is an excellent equestrian centre and some great cafes and restaurants serving lunches, dinners, coffees and cake. Glamis Castle), best known as the Queen Mothers childhood home, is well worth a visit and the cities of Perth and Dundee are an easy drive away. Superb golf courses, walking, riding and fishing can all be enjoyed in the immediate locality and there are plenty of good walks in the spectacular Angus Glens just beyond the town.
