Amazing stay

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we couldn’t have had a better stay. We could watch the ocean while reading books on the deck and hop across to the beach easily. We generally hit the beach three times a day (morning, mid-morning, and evening) and the house’s central location gave us time to explore (we hit the waterpark, miniature golfed, did go karts, surfed the sand dunes and kayaked Alligator river). Our hosts were responsive and kind, but otherwise we stayed out of the way. The house is clean and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures.

Family vacation.

Great house. I’m a great neighborhood/area. Very easy accesible. We had the thermostats break because of how hot it was and the host got it fixed within a few hours. Their response and timeliness of addressing the matter was excellent as it was over 95+ degreess while we stayed there. Would highly recommend. Kitchen had all and every single appliance needed. Location was superb. Hosts were 10/10!

family vacation

This was a wonderful location for a family vacation. My husband and I went with our almost 2-year-old daughter and had a great time. We made a lot of use of the picnic table on the front porch for eating meals and when we weren't eating there, we appreciated all the options for eating within the house too. We loved that the walk to the public beach access was so short and we could see the ocean from the porch. There was a lot of great space inside and it was so nice that there were chairs and laundry at the house for us to use. It is a great place for those looking for a lot of levels of convenience and can work well even for a family with an active/mischievous toddler. :) Pending our family plans for next year (and who else vacations with us) we hope to come back for sure!

Wonderful trip!!

We had such an amazing time during our stay in OBX! The checkin process and overall communication with Nelene was excellent. She was clear and everything we needed to do was straightforward and simple. The house was clean, well stocked and able to accommodate all of our needs. There was a pack n play which turned out to be really helpful with our 2 year old. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. The view from the house/balcony was wonderful and it was so quiet and peaceful at night. It was an easy walk to the beach making it simple for us to get there multiple times each day. There are a handful of walkable places to eat which we loved. We were so close to everything including attractions in Duck, Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. It was such a wonderful vacation. No one wanted to leave (the kids kept asking if we could keep the house) and we will definitely be back!

Perfect Week at the Beach

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. The location was excellent, steps to the beach and a few more to restaurants and ice cream! The house was cozy and a perfect blend of beach house, log cabin, and cottage. It contained everything we needed, and my kids fell in love with the comfy couches, insisting we buy the same for our home. As great as the house is, I was most thankful for the ease of communicating with the host. Nelene was fantastic, responding to all messages right away, and was gracious and thorough in providing all relevant details. I would gladly return to this property or any other from this host. My family had a perfect week at the beach to kick off summer.

Our family from San Diego so enjoyed this hideaway beach location! We were able to walk to the beach, breakfast, dinner and ice cream! The house was clean and perfectly stocked for all our needs. We will definitely book here next time.

Perfect beach getaway!

The house is adorable and in a fantastic location! It's about a 2-minute walk to the beach and a few restaurants. The porch is incredible and was our favorite part of the house. The kitchen is decently stocked and the bathrooms were spacious and updated. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. We would gladly stay here again.

Great weekend!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Convenient to everything, right across from the beach with water view. It is pet friendly and our small dogs loved the fenced yard! Would definitely stay again!

Book this place!

This house checked off every box for us. First of all, it was CLEAN. It’s well maintained, updated and comfortable. We stayed with our 4 teens, and had plenty of room to spread out. The deck was a perfect spot to enjoy coffee in the morning and evenings listening to the ocean. The beach was a short walk, easy enough to run home for forgotten beach gear or food. We really appreciated the proximity to things like ice cream (the kids walked there in only a few minutes!), multiple restaurants and shopping. (Duck donuts a 6 minute walk!) Views from the living area were spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and you are 5-10 minutes from anything you might want to do. Nelene was so responsive and easy to work with. This might have been our best vacation ever! Will certainly return :)

Perfect 😍 Beach House for a Family Vacation!

This property is just awesome. Great ocean views from the huge living room and wrap around deck. The kitchen was stocked with the most utensils/dishes/pots/pans than I have ever rented before! New upgraded bathrooms and new furniture just made us feel at home. Walking distance, just 6 houses from great restaurants!! The homeowner was in constant contact with us making sure we were always taken care of. Who could ask for more? Absolutely wonderful great time was had by all. 😊

Great vacation!

My husband and I along with our adult children (22, 22 and 23) and our family dog Oliver stayed in this wonderful house. The photos do not do it justice….the house was clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is close to the beach access and several local restaurants..including yummy Wink’s ice cream. We had a great week and our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The check in and check out process was super easy. We plan to go back next year!

Great location with wonderful view!

This updated cottage offered the most beautiful views from the porch and is only a few steps away from the beach. It was very convenient for hauling chairs and tents! The cottage provided the space we needed for the week including a stocked kitchen and a fantastic great room. We were thankful to find a pet friendly place too! Our mini Aussiedoodle had a wonderful first trip to the beach and he really appreciated the fenced yard and the wonderful wrap around porch with locking gates. The host was very helpful during the entire process and was quick to respond to any questions or needs. The weather could have been better, but we still had a great week!

Girls Getaway

This beach cottage is absolutely charming and perfect for a week of R&R. You can easily walk to the beach and a few different restaurants nearby. When you sit on the balcony you have a perfect view of the ocean. Nelene was wonderful to us and communicated back so quickly when we had questions and were interested in recommendations. I couldn’t recommend more!

Great location with beautiful ocean views

We enjoyed our stay in this Outer Banks property. It was a short drive to the Wright Brothers memorial, wild horse tour on Corolla, and various lighthouses. We loved being so close to the beach for morning walks and afternoons reading in the beach chairs that are conveniently provided by this property. All communications were promptly answered. Would recommend this as a great vacation rental!

Perfect Porch Perfect Stay

Super clean, great nostalgic vibe with modern accents, perfect porch, and easy walk to the beach. We loved our week in OBX at this house. It’s the perfect mix of classic Outer Banks Beach Box with an updated clean twist. We spent most of our time out on the awesome deck. We sure will miss the view. The walk to the beach is was one of the easiest ones we’ve had in our 30+ years coming down to the Outer Banks. And the access was not crowded, even with a nice weather Labor Day Weekend. Great contact with the hosts.

Awesome Beachhouse

Stayed in mid August 2022 with a family of 5. House was super clean and comfortable and is located right across the street from the beach. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. New looking floors throughout and nice high ceilings with ceiling fans in every room (also central a/c). Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The ocean view from the wrap around deck is awesome. We loved sitting on the oversized chairs on the deck and enjoying the ocean breeze every night. Location is also great - very family oriented but also very close to restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.

Nice cottage

Some updates in obvious older home. Kitchen is small but adequate. Master bath is extremely small. The livingroom furniture is very comfortable and we loved the coziness. The deck is nice with an oceanview but the beach cannot be seen because of an elevated sandbar blocking the view. The host was wonderful! All & all it was a very pleasant stay.

Great vacation home!

Wow! This home was perfect for our family of 5. Our children are 23, 20 and 17. The home was so clean and the large family room and dining was perfect for game night and cards. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and most of it was brand new. We rode the bikes every day and the fact that we didn’t have to travel with beach chairs and an umbrella was such a space saver. The beach is literally steps away which was so easy. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for being wonderful hosts!!!
