Ko Lanta National Park is the most tranquil and romantic of all the areas on the island, with pristine, crystal-clear water and countless excellent spots for scuba diving and snorkelling, with colourful fish abound, and even the occasional whale shark!

For breath-taking views across the Andaman Sea, head over to Tanod Cape, in the National Park itself. Or, for a taste of the diverse everyday life of the island, Lanta Old Town, about 5km away, once an active commercial hub, is now a charming community of traditional wooden houses and a pier.
