Notre luxueux penthouse de plage naufragé avec 1 chambre et 2 salles de bain, avec piscine chauffée, est le refuge parfait pour une lune de miel. Le Penthouse surplombe la plage de Shipwrecks et ses célèbres spots de surf, à 20 mètres du Pacifique et à moins de 50 mètres de la plage de Shipwrecks et du Grand Hyatt, sur la côte sud de Kauai. Notre penthouse privé et spacieux en front de mer, sur un étage, comprend un charmant salon, une salle à manger et une cuisine personnalisée ainsi que des meubles confortables. Notre suite principale en bord de mer comprend un lit king-size, des draps raffinés et une salle de bain complète avec une douche à l'italienne carrelée. Notre terrasse en front de mer (lanai) est parfaite pour les dîners privés, les bains de soleil, la lecture et l'observation des étoiles.  Imaginez le son apaisant du surf 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7. Et, notre Penthouse est complet avec la seconde salle de bain complète essentielle pour votre commodité.

Ce que j'aime dans cette superbe propriété, ce sont ses vues spectaculaires et le son constant et apaisant du ressac qui crée l'intimité que tout couple recherche.  J'imagine être assis avec mon café tous les matins fasciné par les vagues, ne voulant jamais bouger.  La courte promenade de Shipwrecks Beach, un spot de bodyboard et de surf amusant, ainsi que le Grand Hyatt, ses restaurants et le spa Anara constituent un avantage indéniable.

Notre Shipwrecks Beach Penthouse privé est situé au dernier étage de l'unique et très convoité immeuble en front de mer de trois étages d'un petit complexe résidentiel de luxe en bord de mer. Par conséquent, vous pourrez ou non accéder à sa piscine chauffée fermée.  C'est à vous.  La piscine est située à l'extrémité de la propriété afin de ne pas vous déranger en aucune façon.

HDTV / DVD / WIFI / Tel inclus.   Un barbecue à gaz Weber est situé près de la piscine.

It was such a beautiful view and so close to the ocean that we felt like we were right on the beach.
Close to Popui shopping village with nice restaurants and souvenirs. The property host was very responsive to our needs. So fun. We hope to come again.

This place has everything you want in a Kauai condo especially the oceanfront view with a huge lanai. Everything you need from the kitchen utensils to beach chairs and towels. If you are considering any other place and this is available you are missing out.

Wonderful stay. Decor and some hardware are getting a little tired (salt air) but that’s not why you are there. Ocean sounds and views are very special. Be warned three flights of stairs (no elevator) if you have any movement impediments. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location and view
Great place to stay in Kauai. South is a great central location, and you can’t beat the views at this place. Kitchen and condo is well stocked. Loved the beach chairs, towels, and 2 coolers. Only drawback was no A/C. We had no wind our first 2 days and nearly perished from the heat.

Very Beautiful Rental
Great location! Awesome view from the large patio that covers the living area as well as bedroom. Beach chairs and cooler were very handy. We brought way too many clothes and still used the washer and dryer and provided detergent. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t provided here. Always had parking available. Definitely going to stay here again.

Shipwreck Beach Penthouse - Awesome Condo!
The property and location were absolutely awesome! Having stayed there previously, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The condo was very clean and the views are simply amazing. I would highly recommend leaving at least one morning's worth of coffee, as I had to trek to Starbuck's at 5:30am on our first morning (until we could get to the grocery store). Other than that, amenities were great, including bathroom and cooking needs. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for rest and relaxation. We will return next year!

The best of everything
Everyone warned us to expect a little rain while in Kauai...well rain it did; 10+ inches in a day! Not to worry with this beautiful condo, the porch is deep enough to sit and watch a storm. Absolutely fantastic view, and so close to the ocean you can enjoy the roar! Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location and expertly provisioned accommodation! Would definately return to this property, i cant believe there is anything better on the island, as we did drive the entire island!

Shhhhhh..... no one should know about this place.
For those of us who have stayed here, we should keep this a closely held secret! Sunrises are stupendous! Great pool, outdoor grills, easy parking, lots of friendly old folks (like us). Location is terrific, walk to Grand Hyatt for dinner, 4-minute walk to beach, elevated view of whale performances. Unit is spacious, well supplied, comfortable, clean. Prop Mgrs. are responsive and helpful. To those considering this place, be forewarned, there are 32 steps up and down w no elevator (got a huge suitcase? good luck with that), no A/C in living area, no view of sunset, only sunrise that will overwhelm you, dozens of hungry birds cackling, friendly neighbors you might not want to talk to, shopping over 1 MILE away! We want to stay here longer and need your week. Thanks for reading this "review"!

We have stayed at the Grand Hyatt next door many times, but we always looked at this place when we would take walks and commented how nice it would be to stay there. When I saw it on VRBO we decided to give it a try. AMAZING place. The views are incredible and the breeze that comes through if you open all the windows is enough to keep the place cool. I was a little worried it would get warm on the 3rd floor, but that was not an issue. The place had everything that you needed in the kitchen as far as pots, pans and dishes. It would be nice if they had some spices there since that is something you don’t really want to buy for a one time use. They did have salt and pepper but that was all. Our daughter and her family stayed at the Grand Hyatt and it was so nice to have a place for them to come and eat meals.

overall a great place to stay and would consider returning. AC in primary bedroom a definite benefit. notes: - 3rd floor accessed by stairs only - no basic cooking supplies beyond salt and pepper so you'll need to bring/buy your own. - cooking tools, etc are quite good - we even made use of the rice cooker 👏

Simply Beautiful!
This was a great place and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. It is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, which can make getting too difficult if you have a lot of luggage, but it is completely worth it. Walking distance to a couple beaches and only a short drive to some great shopping centers. Also a great base camp if you plan on doing anything with the Na Pali Coast or Waimea Canyon / Kokee State Park. It is a bit of a trek to the East Coast and even further to the North side, but worth every penny if you are planning anything for the South / West side of the island.

View from condo is spectacular, it was very clean and well appointed, bed was comfortable, building was well taken care of and in a quiet location.We enjoyed our stay but feel that it should be noted in description that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to condo and no elevator - getting luggage and groceries up was difficult but not impossible.

The location was perfect
My expectations were exceeded when we arrived at this property. The grounds were well kept, there was plenty of parking, the condo was spacious and the view was pure heaven. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and we had everything we could have needed to relax and be comfortable. We each had our own large bathroom but we did not utilize the second bedroom while there. It did seem hot in there but I didn’t look to see if it had a portable ac unit like the master bedroom did. We were comfortable in our master bedroom with the ocean breeze coming through the screen and the ac unit on. We loved sitting out on the patio in the early mornings and evenings and watching the waves crash against the shore. We absolutely would love to bring our kids back to this condo some day to enjoy it with us too.

This unit is lovely. The view and the setup are just as wonderful as they appear in the pictures. Everything is very well maintained. The location is perfect, with great walking trails and routes, and access to the nearby Hyatt restaurants, etc. One caution however, the WiFi is awful. It drops constantly, so if you need to do any work (especially early in the day) or Zoom or Facetime your family, be prepared to be frustrated. We were in contact with the Property Manager about this but they didn't fix it during the 6 days we were there.

A Wonderful Place
Outstanding location and view. We had a wonderful time experiencing the beach, the pool and incredible sunrise each and everyday. The unit is quiet and truly enjoyable. Steps to the beach, golf course and amenities at nearby resorts. The unit is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator, so this can present a challenge to visitors. The 2 bedrooms are generous in size and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. We would definitely return however there were several things we noted that we’d recommend be attended to for the enjoyment of all: the unit main bedroom needs a new high quality mattresses asap, the seat pads on the dining room chairs are worn out as are those on the two recliners in the living room. Cleaning supplies were missing. We were also told there was a fitness center nearby but we couldn’t find it. Outside there were spiders and spiderwebs all over the staircase. We called and someone came but they really didn’t do much. This should be addressed promptly and permanently. This is such a lovely place. We hope to enjoy it again in the not so distant future. We very much appreciated the opportunity to stay there. Mahalo!
