Norfolk Bay Retreat - views over the sea and vines
Whether you want a base to explore the many natural and historical attractions of the South East Tasmanian region or a peaceful escape immersed in nature, this is a stay you will remember and cherish always.
The home is situated in a rural setting with stunning views spanning across a working vineyard and the everchanging coastal vistas of Norfolk Bay - this is the perfect home away from home.
Whether it's enjoying a good book, a glass of wine on the deck, going for a short walk or dip at nearby Shelly Beach, taking on one of the many world-class walking tracks, or exploring the historic sites, Norfolk Bay Retreat will not disappoint.
This single-level home with two living areas, three bedrooms, and an expansive outdoor deck is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the property's vineyard and coastal vistas of Norfolk Bay.
The open-plan kitchen sits centrally between the dining and two living areas. Whip up a hearty meal in this well-equipped kitchen, which includes a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and other cooking essentials like pots, pans, utensils, and most importantly a pod coffee machine.
Eat around the country-style timber dining table or like us venture outside to the expansive front deck which is the perfect spot for a long lunch around the timber outdoor table whilst soaking in the views and peace and quiet of the surrounds. The outdoor deck is also the perfect spot to cook up a storm at the BBQ.
Kick back to one of the two living areas which are both welcoming and family-friendly with each featuring plush linen country-style couches and smart TVs. Both are ideal spaces for relaxing and socialising watching TV or snuggling with your chosen holiday read. The main living area also enjoys a gas log fire creating the perfect ambient heat for those chillier Tasmanian evenings.
Three cosy bedrooms accommodate five guests. The master suite is located in a separate wing from the other bedrooms and offers a king-size bed and generous ensuite with a bath and separate shower and toilet.
The second and third bedrooms are located in a separate wing of the house and share the main bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen-size bed. The third bedroom features a king single bunk bed perfect for the children.
All beds feature high-quality bedding and sheets guaranteeing the best night's sleep you will ever have.
The main bathroom also features a shower and a bathtub. A separate toilet is also in this wing. There is a third toilet located just off the outdoor deck.
A separate laundry will allow catch up on your washing and make use of the in-unit facilities including a washing machine and dryer.
There is a two-car garage available for guest use and there is ample parking for a number of cars.
We are very environmentally aware and where possible we use Koala Eco natural soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and cleaning products that are refillable. We also use biodegradable and compostable coffee pods and other sustainably produced products.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire home to yourself and we hope you make yourself at home!
The vineyard is a commercially working vineyard and we ask that you do not enter the vines for any reason. This is to protect them from any damage. They are monitored with security cameras.
We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay.
We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.
Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be - totally stress-free and relaxing!!
I'm not always able to personally check the house before your arrival - I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of Norfolk Bay Retreat.
