Les points forts : Propreté, personnel et service, équipements et infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement
Excellent Quality/Price relationship. We booked a luxury pool room for "half price" but got a free upgrade for a 2 room half bungalow. The large park area is lovely and very well kept. The water of beach is of medium quality (all along Ao Nang), the pools are clean. Breakfast is ok enough (e.g. good choice of cooked food, salad, and fruit).
The resort is very well situated. There are a night market, restaurants, bars, services, shops, massage parlors etc nearby. Despite being in the town, the room was calm. Staff was friendly, in particular the cleaning staff. Fully recommended if discount !
As always, things can be improved, for example: more long chairs at the beach (there is enough space), language skills of managing staff, breakfast items (only American bread, no bacon, cheap juice) breakfast service (e.g. missing tea bags), breakfast time (after 10 you will have to pay a brunch in a restaurant), taxi service (after 18h you are on your own). Some people criticize wear, but we didn't mind a few scratches and missing tiles. Water jets could be repaired in the pools though.
Tips: To get around, use Bolt taxis (simple and cheap) pickup at reception. To explore nearby island use the longboat service (the office is about 200m walking on the beach). Thai and Indian food is cheap but not always very good, check ratings (in particular the negative ones). Same for massage, most is rather poor. The Landmark nightmarket has excellent food, Longboat and Beach restaurant also.
