Kungsgården is characterized by beautiful natural surroundings and is located by Storsjön. The nearest bathing place is Korsikabadet, which is a grassy beach in a bay. Kungsgården is perhaps best known for the fact that Gustav Vasa stopped in the village during his escape from Danish soldiers.
