À propos de cet hébergement
Chateau De Lavezon - Douze Chambres , Couchages 28
Overlooking the Aveyron Valley, Château De Lavezon offers all the romance, charm, and character you could imagine. Calm reigns over this beautiful Château, with entertaining spaces, intimate bedrooms, luscious grounds, and plenty of space to spread out and relax. The region is filled with enchanting medieval villages and historic towns to discover, with excellent gastronomy, hiking, and sports. There really is something for everyone!
Château De Lavezon is vast, with twelve bedrooms, accommodating up to twenty-eight guests, making it an ideal spot for private events, celebrations, and weddings. The unique charms of the property make every corner feel special. From the moment you arrive, there is a sense of calm that shrouds the entire château, so whether you are lounging in bed in the morning, sitting the pool, or playing tennis on the court, everything feels relaxing.
As you move through this charming château, each room is more captivating than the last. The design easily blends the character features of exposed beams and stonework, with the ease and elegance of more modern furnishings.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring a 6-level oven, with stainless steel worktops, a professional coffee machine, wine cellar and more. Equipped with everything you could need to prepare spectacular meals, or to hire a private chef to take the pressure off, the kitchen is a real gem in this property. There is a cosy living room with an open fireplace and a dining room that is overflowing with character, and offers space for large group dining experiences.
Outside, the terraces boast a panorama of views, with an infinity swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, basketball hoop, football cage and trampoline all at your disposal. Time outdoors is time well spent, with the long French summers offering an oasis of relaxation, as you sit beneath the dappled light of trees tasting local wines, and dip in and out of the hot tub, embracing every minute of your holiday.

Location:
The beautiful Château De Lavezon sits overlooking the Aveyron Valley. The region is filled with enchanting medieval villages and historic towns to discover. With excellent food and outdoor activities including hiking and sports, there really is something for everyone. The village of La Fouillade is just a few kilometres away, with a delicious bakery, post office for convenience, supermarket, butcher, and more. In fact, you can find most conveniences within a short drive of the château, perfect for picking up the bits and bobs you need during your stay.
Whilst the surrounding nature is beautiful, Les Jardins de Quercy are enchanting and are well worth a visit during your stay. Just a thirty-minute drive away, you can spend hours exploring the vibrant colours and natural wonders of the gardens.
From markets to concerts, the charming streets of Najac, which is only 10km away, come alive through the summer months. Known as one of France’s ‘Plus Beaux Villages’, every street is incredibly picturesque, with medieval architecture, a village château and luscious greenery in every direction you look.
Saint-Antonin Noble Val, 35 kilometres away, is another great place to visit. Rich in history, the town has a popular Sunday morning market that we would recommend. From the town you can hire canoes and kayaks, exploring the breath-taking Aveyron gorges from a different angle. For an adrenaline rush, you can try caving and climbing, as well as mountain biking and tree-top trails!
Surrounded by nature, this region is perfect for outdoor adventures. Whether you enjoy mountain biking, hiking, walking or taking a picnic, the scenery is stunning, making every activity feel special. The region’s lakes and river beaches are brilliant choices for picnics, whilst experienced hikers can follow the famous Chemin de St Jacques which passes to the north. Cycling is extremely popular, although the area is very hilly, so be wary if you are not an experienced cyclist! For golf lovers, there is a 9 hole golf course in Villefranche de Rouergue about 15km away.
