This beautiful modern chalet home has been completely remodeled. Located in the Hideout, a four-star amenity filled community, in The Northern Poconos. Just two hours from the NYC and Philadelphia areas. The Hideout offers activities for all four seasons: golfing, boating, swimming, hiking, skiing, snow tubing and so much more!

A perfect home for a relaxing getaway for up to 11 guests! The large chalet windows offer a stunning seasonal view of Big Spring Pond and the serene woods. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, the Chalet offers a perfect location to gather with friends and family. It boasts a large wrap around deck and screened in porch, propane grill, perfect for entertaining.

This 3-story home consists of 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a kitchen with large island and table seating for 10, game room, outdoor firepit, wood burning fireplace, and laundry room.

The main living area (2nd floor) has a family room with cathedral ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, master bedroom with queen bed, full bath and spacious eat in kitchen.

The third floor offers 2 bedrooms; One features a full size bed with a walk out balcony.
The second bedroom has two twin bunk beds. There is also a full bathroom with soaking tub.

The walk out lower level has a spacious family room with electric fireplace and game room. This level also has a private bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom and laundry room.

More beautiful in person
The house was super clean, and decorated so beautifully! Everything was explained thoroughly by the owners. Out of all the vacation houses we rented before, Matt’s house was the cleanest, even to the dishes. The views from the huge living room windows are absolutely stunning. It was raining/snowing when we stayed but we got to enjoy the house! The heating works great, my family stayed in the lower level but it was very warm. We hope to come back in the summertime! Thank you Matt & Wendy!

Great home!
This is our 3rd stay at the Hideout and we just cannot love it more! The community has so much to do inside it, let alone options nearby Matt and Wendy’s home was so warm and welcoming. We stayed for a week and for a family of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids aged 7-11) the house was exactly what we needed! It was fully stocked with games, cooking basics, etc We had to reach out to Matt and Wendy during our stay and they were very prompt in response. Thanks so much for opening your home for us!

The home was lovely. We were initially concerned about the lack of central air, but the shaded area, window unit air conditioners and fans were fine. We felt that the amenities of the community were over-stated. The mini golf and arcade were under whelming and the need to drive everywhere was inconvenient. Also, we attempted to use the main pool twice but were not able to find parking either time. We did visit the North Pool which was fine, but were told we could not bring snacks with us. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The home was lovely and we appreciated how many games/activities were included. Thank you.

Great house, great location
Most fully stocked location of any rental I’ve ever stayed! We enjoyed all the community’s resources (beach, pool, sports options) along with having plenty to do at the house itself. The bedrooms worked well for our 6 adults and a little one. We had everything we needed. Only one wish is that the basement bedroom could be cooled down a bit more. Otherwise highly recommend for families.

Great Stay For Families
We had an excellent week at Serenity Woods! There was something to do for all ages! Being able to go back and forth from the South Pool to the beach was so nice! I do want to mention we were nervous about there being no central AC and it being mid-summer, but with the window units and many fans provided it was not an issue at all! We were nice and cool all week! Matt was super helpful with any questions we had and tips for things to do off the property!

Great house!
This house is awesome! We stayed with our extended family for a long weekend. The house has everything you can think of in the kitchen, was very clean and the owners are extremely responsive and easy to deal with. The hideout has lots of amenities. The ski hill is perfect for beginners. The kids loved it and it's the cheapest skiing you'll find. My only wish is for a queen bed upstairs rather than a full (two adults can't sleep in a full size bed so one had to sleep on the couch).

Property as expected and communication with the property manager was excellent. Availability of winter amenities are not guaranteed, and the ski/tubing area was closed during our stay. The drive to Montage ski resort was reasonable, and all of the children successfully completed their first lessons. We would stay at this property again as there was plenty of space for our party of 10 and plenty of games/activities for the kids.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home at the end of August. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults and 5 children ages 6 and younger. The game room downstairs was a huge hit for the kids on the one rainy day we had. The complex has so much to offer and is huge! I wish we stayed longer to see more of the property. There was construction going on but once you figure out the detours it was fine. The house was so clean and well kept. Matt was extremely responsive to our texts. We were unable to make phone calls due to lack of service but texting with WiFi worked fine. We would love to make this our yearly family getaway!

Very cute place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went to enjoy a little getaway with our children for our anniversary and made many memories! The place was very clean and very well stocked. The kids enjoyed all the amenities and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. It was within walking distance to the clubhouse and a little playground we went to. Matt was very responsive and gave us suggestions to make reservations (which we were so glad to know!) We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Family + 1 friend (8 of us, ages 11 to 76) spent 3 nights and had a terrific time: Played mini-golf and golf; played all the fun games in the house; went to the gym, pool and beach; rode bikes; walked; grilled. We celebrated a 75th birthday. The house is so wonderfully decorated and was so clean and comfortable. We loved eating our meals on and just hanging out on the delightful screened-in porch where we could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. The house is a winner!

The house is beautiful, very tastefully done. The location is also beautiful, backing into the woods. House is well furnished. It seemed a bit smaller than it looked in pictures, however it was very comfortable for our group of 9 adults/teens. We had an extreme winter weather related situation in the house - the owners were very accessible and communicated frequently to help as best as they could. We had a great stay and highly recommend the property.

The property was beautiful, spacious and perfect for our group of 10 adults. The house was very cozy and was perfect for relaxing all day. We enjoyed the porch outside and the kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group. Service was spotty all over the hideout but the wifi worked very well at the house. Wonderful week at The Hideout in Serenity Woods
Our 3 generation family had a wonderful week at The Hideout. Serenity Woods was an immaculate home on a quiet road that was comfortable and did not disappoint. We loved spending time in the screen porch and deck. The community was clean and safe and there were tons of activities that everyone enjoyed. The home had a fully stocked kitchen which is so nice to have some of those little extras that you don’t have to run out and buy. The hosts were great with communication and having useful information in the house. We would definitely come back when we want to visit the Poconos.
