Welcome to the Bavarian Gasthaus, Suite C - offering a single king studio unit that is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Leavenworth.

This cottage-style 4-plex offers excellent value and is the perfect accommodation for visitors who want a simple, convenient place to stay without all the fuss. Located in a converted historic home, it even comes with free parking downtown, so you can explore without battling or paying for a parking spot!

Each hotel-style suite is like a cozy little nest, equipped with all the basics: a microwave for your late-night popcorn cravings, a standard 12-cup coffee maker to fuel your mornings, cable TV to binge-watch your favorite shows, an iron and ironing board for pretending you’ll actually iron something, a hairdryer to blow away bad hair days, and a mini-fridge to keep your snacks and drinks chilled.

As it's an old historic home, you might hear some noise from the neighbors—consider it part of the authentic charm! The floors might be a bit uneven, adding an extra challenge to your midnight bathroom trips. And there might be a slight musty odor, just to remind you of the building's storied past. But did we mention… FREE DOWNTOWN PARKING!

Perfect location on the edge of town easy 5 min walk to shops
Comfortable little room perfect for a couple. Clean and a giant bed for sleeping in. Great location! Easy to get into town but quiet enough so you don’t hear other folks walking around.

Unit C - Compact but Convenient Location Location: Situated close to the main street and festivities, this unit (one of four in the house) offers excellent access to local attractions. The central location is definitely a highlight for those wanting to be near the action. Room Size & Layout: The room is notably compact, significantly smaller than standard hotel rooms. While it contains the essentials - a comfortable bed, small table, and two chairs - the limited space could be challenging for guests with mobility concerns. The tight quarters require careful navigation. Comfort & Amenities: Bed comfort is a definite plus Basic furnishings are functional but minimal Surprisingly good soundproofing - no noise from adjacent units - Limited space for movement and storage - Minimal amenities compared to standard hotel rooms Value for Money: While the premium pricing during Christmas season is understandable, the room's size and basic amenities make it difficult to justify the cost. Consider this option if location is your top priority and you're comfortable with minimal space. Best suited for: - Solo travelers or couples who pack light - Guests prioritizing location over room size - Short-term stays where minimal indoor space isn't an issue Not recommended for: - Guests with mobility challenges - Those requiring ample living space - Travelers seeking higher end accommodations - Extended stays where comfort and space are essential

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was everything we could have wished. The king size bed made it a tight fit but overall it was wonderful. It's in a great location and made it easy to walk throughout the town and enjoy the local activities! For the money, this was a great property to stay at and we would definitely stay there again!

A couple of frustrations
Overall I would stay at this location again. Great location and room for 2 was comfortable and clean. The first night at around 4:00 am the carbon monoxide detector started chirping. It chirped for several hours, it kept me awake and I was unable to go back to sleep. The room was also without a smoke detector. I called the number provided twice to get help with the tv. They were unable to assist. Otherwise it was great.

Great Location
This is our second time staying in this location. We love the proximity to downtown Leavenworth, only a few blocks away. Also very close to river access. It was very clean with comfortable linens. We have no complaints and plan to book another stay in the future!
