BnB’s Dog-Friendly Cottage
YOU MADE IT! Look no further. This comfy cozy little cottage is located along the outskirts of our quaint and busy town. Whether you are looking to jump into the happenings of multiple thriving beach towns (beaches, bike trails, outlets, restaurants, bars, breweries, etc.) or are seeking some peace & quiet, this cottage is for you!
We are so excited to share our little piece of Lewes with visitors from near & far!
One main thing to note: Due to the time period of this homes construction (1950's), some of the ceilings and all of the door frames are short. Tall people are CERTAINLY WELCOME, but just as a fair warning, the shortest ceilings are 6' 3" (75") and the lowest door frames are 5'10" (70").
Parking for 2 vehicles is available and FREE! If you absolutely need more parking we will do our best to work with you. It may require some coordination so please message me PRIOR TO YOUR CHECKIN day.
We LOVE dogs. Friendly, well behaved and "potty-trained" dogs are welcome for a fee. However, the house is on a well traveled road so we don't advise leaving your pets outside (even in the fenced in area unattended). NO CATS please.
We have 4 beach chairs available and a few beach toys for the kids! Don’t worry about taking up the extra space in your car.
The cottage is best suited for 4 guests but additional patrons are negotiable. (Bathroom access is through either bedroom.)

Our guests have access to this entire cottage. There is a nice sized deck attached to the front of the house where meals can be enjoyed in addition to inside. You are also welcome to the FENCED-IN yard that connects to the house allowing you to engage in games, lounging or playing with kids or pets.
Please do not wander into any neighboring yards or the back of the property. You have access to the areas immediately surrounding the house. The road to the cottage side of the driveway, back to the parking area, and within the fence over to the fence line.
A code is provided upon arrival for access during your stay.
Most likely you won’t see us during your stay. We will be around but usually like to leave you be. All the neighbors are very friendly so please be kind back:)
Trash day is Tuesday so if you’re around during the week, you may see & hear someone rolling the cans to and from the road (past the cottage) on Monday nights and Tuesdays afterwards.
The Driveway is shared by possible renters in a separate dwelling, our next door neighbors, and you! Please be thoughtful when loading, unloading, using uber/lyft, and informing delivery drivers.
Our home is on a cut through road making it very convenient to go anywhere!
Parking is free at the cottage but we recommend downloading the "Park Mobile" App for public parking in downtown Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach. Using Uber or Lyft is a great way to get around and can eliminate the parking situation all together. The State Park entry fee is $8 (DE Plates) or $10 (out of state) for the day.
We are very close to the bike/walking trails that extend from Georgetown (Northwest of us) to Rehoboth (South). No matter what your biking level the distance will prove to be enjoyable although you won't find any hills on your route (you're best bet is the Great Dune in the Lewes side of the State Park). We suggest jumping in the car for 2 minutes and parking in the lot behind Old World Breads to safely access the trail.
We have a large garden in a separate fenced-in area adjacent to your fenced in yard. Don’t be alarmed if you see us or some helpers coming and going in the garden area. Their entrances are not connected to the house or your fence.

All guest must be at least 21 years old. No illegal activity is permitted.
At checkout please leave the house as you found it. (no dirty dishes, please do not move furniture scrambled around the house and out of place, please dispose of trash in trash cans, and any additional laundry please place on the floor in front of the machines.
There are no additional safety devices or child proofing in the house. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you are attentive. (There may be normal household hazards such as blind pull cords within reach of small children, and no outlet safety covers to name a few. Nothing out of the ordinary.)
