The popular Aysgarth Falls lie just a mile to the south along the River Ure. This stunning part of the Yorkshire Dales is home to landmarks and attractions including The Forbidden Corner and the remains of Richard III’s Middleham Castle, both within 10 miles. For more history, visit Bolton Castle (2.5 miles) where you can explore the castle and gardens and enjoy refreshments at the cafe. The bustling market town of Leyburn is to the east (8 miles), home of the Harmby Waterfall and the Wensleydale Show. Hawes is a secluded town to the west (10 miles), known for the Dales Countryside Museum and Gayle Mill.
The back door of this cheerful cottage leads through to the light and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner which makes a lovely spot for everyone to settle back and relax in after a fabulous day exploring the surrounding countryside. The inviting lounge has a Smart TV and comfortable seating, and the dining area sits over by the windows. Heading through, the bright and stylishly arranged kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of storage and workspace. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find a refreshing family bathroom and the first of the property’s three cosy bedrooms: a cheerful and relaxing double. A spiral staircase leads up from this level to the second floor where there’s a choice of two delightful single bedrooms, each with traditional timber beams and skylights set in low-sloping ceilings.
Stepping outside from the dining area, the picturesque garden has ample outdoor furniture perfect for you to sit back and dine alfresco on a sunny afternoon as you take in the views of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. Off-road parking is available for one car.
