Beach Towels


Yes. Your stay includes free towels, which you can use at the pools or to take to the local beaches. However, you will be assessed a $35 fee by the resort if you do not return the towels to the room.

Kauia Beach Resort's policy is to ensure a comfortable and pest-free environment for all our guests. As part of this commitment, we do not provide microwaves in ANY units. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

NO RESORT FEES


Guests renting directly from the resort or through retail travel sites pay a hefty DAILY resort fee in addition to a MUCH higher rental rate!. There is no daily resort fee with us!!!!; however, if you book directly from the hotel, they will charge an average of $250 daily rate for same kind of room plus daily resort fee.

Nice room, excellent resort, great location
This is our second time at this resort but our first time in this unit. The room was comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the pool and small ocean view. Loved the full size fridge. This resort is fantastic! The location is perfect for heading north toward Princeville or south and west into Poipu and Waimea. The resort amenities are excellent. If you arrive before 4:30pm on a Friday, they have a Hawaiian show by the pool that’s a free mini luau. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient location for visiting the entire island. Close to the airport, the beach and shopping. The resort has most amenities and a great place to stay.

Relaxing Getaway
The room was exactly as described and was well stocked. The use of the resort amenities was an added plus. The location is very nice and makes travel to the north and to the south and west very easy. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

Beautiful, Clean and Great Location!
I have absolutely no complaints about my stay! The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room itself was also very clean and I loved that the balcony overlooked the pool. I enjoyed that I could walk up to the beach lawn to watch the sunrise in the mornings and also the free yoga :) location was ideal for getting to travel to all parts of the island as well. Definitely recommend!

We used the pools daily. They were great not overly crowded. Only downside ( which was in info so not a surprise) was no microwave. Would have been nice to be able to heat up left overs, but we knew there wouldnt be one

Great property with all the essentials and amenities. The only issues are that you can tell the maintenance and structural details lack the care and love it deserves. Tile coming apart/missing, rusty doors, broken beach chairs etc. But overall a good property.

Paradise found!
Our stay in Kauai was amazing! The Kauai Beach Resort is a beautiful property! The bed in the unit has a fantastic mattress. The cot for our adult daughter was similar to a camping cot with a thin mattress. At the resort we loved eating breakfast by the koi pond. There is a Starbucks on property with delicious pastries. I strongly recommend the guava danish! The location is close to the airport. There are stunning beaches close by. The beach at the resort is not a recommended for swimming. There are many public beaches with lifeguards nearby. Kauai is paradise!

Beautiful island vacation! Our host, Jamini was absolutely incredible, she made sure we were taken care of and had everything we need and then some; went out of her way. Shes a true blessing. 4 stars but we would stay again
Love the place- the location is perfect. Checking in was easy. The host was easy to get a hold of. The valet parking was wonderful! And included in the $35 a night parking fee. And the guys were so helpful with places to visit and eat. We would stay again and probably give 5 stars next time because we would have all the information. Such as there is not pull out sofa, as stated in the description- there is a single cot. There was only 1 blanket on the bed and one in the drawer. There were originally 3 of us. And a 4th showed up for 2 nights. Unfortunately one slept with no blanket and the other used a towel. When asked for another blanket and pillow I was told it would be brought the next day. The next day when I requested 2 more towels I was then told that the extra blanket would come with a charge. It was only a few nights so we just dealt with it. When housekeeping came to give us the towels she informed us it was only a change out. That we could not get any additional towels. Again that was fine we made it work. So just be aware. If you go knowing these things you will give this place 5 stars. Enjoy you’re time!

Was a Great Trip!!
Yes, the property could use some updating, but what property doesn't if it's not brand new... we have two very minor complaints.. 1. we could have used a microwave in the room.. 2. we did not understand that we were a "private" property, so when we needed more coffee and toilet paper, were told to call our private housekeeper.... When she showed up at the door, she seemed very perturbed that we couldn't get our own?? But other than that.. we had a Terrific Time!! and can't wait to go back!!

A few simple touches.
I had a a great time. Couple of things to consider. 1. Maybe a couple of big waters in the fridge? The flight was very long we were so thirsty got in at 10:30 at night would have been nice to have some water for drinking and coffee in the morning the bottles can be refilled the whole time at the water station. 2. To have beach chairs we had to rent them at 20.00 for two chairs per day. There is room in the closet for a few fold up beach chairs. The property is amazing however on the Monday we got there until Friday there was construction all day across the hall on four units that we were not aware of so no quite time for naps and the following Monday we got notice of in room a/c cleaning between 9-12. Every single hotel Person was a 10 with kindness/help and information. Was sad to leave.

We had a great time at this VRBO. Room was very comfortable and clean. No issues with checking in. The only minor issue was that parking lot was small and no available stalls, especially at night.

Great room in an incredible resort
We loved our stay here. The host was very responsive. We brought our 18-month-old and the room was big enough to comfortably fit a small pack and play. The room has some essential items included (umbrella, can opener, cutting board) – my only suggestion is some washable plastic bowls and plates. We bought paper bowls/plates and left some behind for the next guests. Our son said "woooow" every time we opened the blinds in the morning – we agreed, it's a great view. The resort itself is family-friendly. Sand-bottom shallow pool and a slide for the older kids. Quiet in the evenings. And always enough seating with shade options. The little shop and Starbucks were an extra treat to have on-site. Some reviews online about this resort complain about it being "outdated" but I disagree. It's extremely well-kept. The landscaping is immaculate. The staff are friendly. The resort is in a great location to visit the rest of the island, which we did. Do the nearby Kuilau Ridge hike! Pretty easy and with a fantastic pay-off at the top. Highly recommend staying here :-)

The location of the room in the hotel is good with a nice view. The unit needs to be refreshed and made more comfortable for renters. The furniture is old and worn out, nothing like the other rooms in this hotel. The mattress is old, soft, bath linens are marginal, no utensils, only one glass, old coffee pods and huge fridge (that is unnecessary) no microwave. The bathroom has only one small hook to hang towels which do not dry out. Missing drain cover in bathroom vanity sink, artwork missing but hooks remain. It seems that there has been no effort to upgrade this unit so that guest do not feel they are in a old, tired space. Be aware that the location of the hotel is a bit isolated, totally car dependent if you want to go shopping or dine out. The beach is not swimmable.

This VRBO was a real treat!
We absolutely loved our stay at Kauai Beach Resort. It was gorgeous and the pool/ beach front access really elevated the experience. It was nice staying in the private VRBO room rather than booking directly through the resort too because our host left us things like a cooler, towels, umbrella, etc which was nice because we would've had to rent them otherwise. We will stay here for any/all return trips!
