Les points faibles : Personnel et service, infrastructures et conditions de l’hébergement, confort de la chambre
A 1.5 star hotel with a 5 star façade
I booked this hotel because I wanted a swimming pool and amazing service. I got neither of those. The service was only ok because I was traveling with a translator. My translator said if I had been by myself they wouldn’t be able to check me in. In China I expect this, but not at a 5 star hotel.
Hotel room: after 2 hours of the AC on high the room was no cooler. A call to the desk said they used "Natural Wind" to cool the room and only turned on cold air at night. We asked about the Western Restaurant, it wouldn’t be opened till July.
I decided to go for a swim; board shorts and a dive top. I got into pool and was called by a pool attendant. He said that I would need a swim cap. "Okay charge it to the room." When he was done; his manager came to talk to me and in decent English said, I couldn’t swim without a cap. “Okay”, I said. Looking, at me and said I had no suite. I explained to him what I was wearing was a suite. He said the guest might complain. I looked at him, "They might complain?" He told me that I wasn’t wearing a suite, again I explained. He said if I wanted to swim I had to buy a suite (50’s Woman style for $250.)
I had had enough, no AC, room service, mini-bar, and NO SWIM. We packed and went to checkout. At the front desk we told them we were leaving, they didn’t understand. The GM came to us and to say I couldn't swim was because I didn’t wear a swim cap. At this point I was frustrated. We told the GM the whole story and went to the Hilton.
