Go somewhere else
I have stayed at several vrbo properties and this one was by far, the worst experience. I had to ask for the key code to get in. There was no book explaining how things (TV, dishwasher, thermostat, etc) worked. Every other place I was in had that, with information about local restaurants, things to do, etc. When I got in, the TV didn't work. I spent 45 minutes trying to figure it out and then contacted the owner. We ended up on the phone and then she put in touch with her husband, and we were on the phone for about 45 minutes. The TV in the living room ended up not working and I only had use of the one in the bedroom. The first night I was there, the carbon monoxide alarm started to chirp and despite going back and forth with the owner, it did not get fixed for three days. I had only one night without it chirping. I left a day early. It was no surprise to me that she put up a for sale sign.

Welcome Y'all
This property was very nice for our stay. Everything was clean and the gas stove was very enjoyable to cook on. Old Summerville is right down the street, and the highway is very convienient to get to. I would stay there again.

Comfortable stay and welcoming home
Visiting a friend for her birthday and this home was a first time rental for me. I’m one to always stay at the same VrBo’s each trip but I needed a pet friendly home this time. Fenced in back yard was helpful as well as the screened in porch for watching him play outside. Will definitely be booking here for all future Summerville trips.

Clean and close to Historic Summerville
Clean and decorated nicely with little touches to make you feel welcomed. Fenced backyard for our dogs to run around. Nice laundry machines. Neighbors are close but did not hear them once inside. If you want a fun activity to do. Try goat yoga at Flowertown Charm Farm. They also have animal cuddle sessions. There are goats, chickens, and pigs. When I was there the piglets were recently born and you could hold them.

We enjoyed it, though a place that sleeps 6 or 7 needs enough silverware and plates for a meal for them. There were 4 spoons! We served chili and had our grandson bring spoons! Only 3 washcloths in the upstairs. Otherwise things were fine.

No hassles
Property comes with a nice compliment of items you will need. Towels, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets all included. The checkout procedure was absolutely no hassle and allowed to leave extra early in the morning without a lot of cleaning. The host communication was excellent and she provided quick responses to any and all inquiries. Would stay again!

Nice place but very dirty
Please do not let the “professionally clean” trick you into thinking this place is clean. The bathroom/kitchen were sanitized at best. We were greeted to piles of dog hair on the floor and a rug/couch that hadn’t been vaccumed in months. I reported to owner and was told that she would notify her staff. No offer to help fix the problem. There was no accessible vacuum only a broom. Thankfully we were local and able to get my own personal vaccum to clean the home. We wouldn’t have been able to stay other wise with a little one that has bad allergies. The home is very beautiful with good amenities! It was very disappointing that 1. The place was so dirty on arrival 2. There was no offer/action on the owner to help fix the problem.

Pleasant townhouse
This is a very nice townhouse that is great for families. Dominique was very pleasant and responds quickly. Keep in mind it is a townhouse and the neighbor that is attached to the townhouse is quiet but the neighbor beside the townhouse has a colorful personality and a voice that carries. So if you want to enjoy peaceful evenings on the screened in porch

Blessing!
This was a wonderful place to stay. We were able to enjoy the bustle of Charleston and come back to a quiet home. This property had all we needed. My cat loved the screened in porch. I feel so blessed to have Dominique open her home for us and our pet. We visited two restaurants in Summerville; Five Loaves Cafe, and Oscar's they were also 5*** We look forward to staying with Dominique again. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

I’m not sure where the fault lies, but our stay was doubled-booked despite me having already paid in full. We didn’t find out until we were minutes away from the property. Dominque was easy to contact and very apologetic and even gave me backup suggestions. It made for an incredibly stressful night as we scrambled to find somewhere to stay with our daughter whom we hadn’t seen in several months snd who only had leave for the weekend. I hadn’t used VRBO in years and likely won’t use it in the future. Definitely not because of Dominque, but because it looks like VRBO botched this one. I wish that we had gotten to use this property because it looks lovely.

Not a house, but good
My lower rating is due to this being a townhouse and not a house, and we would not have rented based on that and the location. That being said, the townhome is nice, and has some nice features. The best thing, is that the dressers and heavy furniture are anchored! There is a gate for the bottom of the stairs. We had a lot of use with the screened in patio. Some of the screen is popped out, but we had no bugs. The fenced in yard is secure, if you have very small dogs, they may be able to get under in the back. The beds were comfortable.

Wonderful stay! Quiet neighborhood, Easy check in, prompt communication, all needed amenities, close to everything. Fenced yard was great for our dog although he didn't use it much bec of the hot weather. And you can enjoy the July 4th fireworks from the driveway! Thank you again a wonderful stay!

Overall experience was pleasant. When we arrived the space felt sanitized but not clean. The bathroom and kitchen was clean however the unit had a layer of grime in areas. I’m sure it has to do with allowing pets. The baseboards and corners were covered in filth and the carpet had crumbs/debris. The walls had a lot of marks from wear and tear in many areas. Ultimately the place is a good value for the money but not the “professionally cleaned” space as advertised. When I arrived I asked the property manager to send a cleaner to spot clean the areas that were in need (we had a baby staying so it was necessary) she was unable to do so. This was disappointing from a guest perspective but she did offer a full refund if I left the property that day and did not stay. I thought this was above and beyond but ultimately due to the demand of units in the area there was no other place available besides hotel. The unit could have been cleaner but the stay was adequate and the beds were comfortable.

House was as pictured but not as clean as expected (floors/mop boards). Also this was a townhome which I was not expecting as I thought this was a single family house. Tv was a smart tv that made it very difficult to get anything beyond prepaid apps. Screened in porch was nice. Grass in backyard was really long deterring us from spending any time there.

Property was as pictured on website...we took our small dog...fenced back yard...even a child gate for stairs for grandbaby...like new home...spotless...close to everything but far enough out to be peaceful and quiet at night...
