Large Home With Boat Dock and Picture Perfect Sunsets Sleeps 14

This completely renovated, 2-story, 2450 sq. ft. home sits on the open water on a beautiful, quiet peninsula in Indian Hills Estates less than 1 mile from a public boat ramp. Sleeps 14 in beds. The 3 downstairs bedrooms have queen beds. The upstairs bedroom sleeps 8 with one queen bed, and two bunk beds with full beds down and twins up. New flooring and paint throughout. Big kitchen w/granite countertops accommodates several cooks at one time. Covered porch w/lake view. 100 ft. pier leads to boathouse with boat and jetski lifts, 16x16 covered sitting area, fish cleaning station, and a rope swing that will entertain the kids for hours. Or sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows. New 43" flat screen, LCD TV; wireless internet; and kids "cave" upstairs with new 39" flat screen, LCD TV, with DVD. Appliances provided, including stove/oven, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and blender. All new linens, dishes, and cutlery and an outdoor grill. There's even a folding table and chairs for extra seating or playing games. Wal-Mart, grocery stores & many restaurants and coffee shops in nearby Livingston. Just bring your food, drinks, paper and plastic goods, and sunscreen!

Gorgeous Sunsets!
Celebrating 3 October birthdays, plenty of room for everyone! If you have a large group, this is the one for you! Boat house/dock is great, the rope swing was a big hit! Did I mention the sunsets? Absolutely gorgeous!

Last minute booking
We had a beach house reserved and then hurricane Beryl hit and messed the beach house up pretty bad so we were scrambling to find a replacement for our yearly summer vacation. We tried several times to book houses and missed out but my son found this one and we jumped on it asap. Paul was great the house is large and roomy, it was clean and he’s pet friendly which is a big thing for us. The dock is huge and my grandkids loved the rope swing! We will definitely be returning as the view was amazing! Thanks again Paul!!

My family and I really did enjoy our stay there this weekend. The house was exactly as described. However, the upstairs TV never did show. Never did connect to the internet. But otherwise everything was great.

The view is absolutely beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice! There was plenty of room for our large family group. We didn't catch any fish, but that is why it's called fishing and not catching. I would add some curtains on the west facing windows, just so we can close them for when the sun gets too much. You will not be disappointed with your pick of this home!

Beautiful location on the lake - amazing sunset views.
I loved the location of the property - I spent every evening on the dock taking sunset photos. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone. Our major issue was the lake level - we got an automated welcome letter stating safety details over swimming from the dock and using the lift. It did not reflect that the lake level was a little almost 5 feet under the pool elevation (Google it to be sure or current data). We brought our boat due to the email, and there was one launch in the area that could launch boats. It was a great disappointment to our fisherpeople on the trip. The up side for me, someone practicing iPhone photography for fun, we’re incredible sunsets reflecting on a huge huge still area of water past the docks. The only significant thing I’d change in the house is having roller shades in the living area to use during the afternoon when the sun blazes into the room at eye height. The location was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our group. We brought our pontoon boat and appreciated the use of the boat lift as the water get a little rough at times. We had a little issue with the upstairs AC but he got someone out very quickly to take care of it. We would consider stay again.

Best Family Vacation so far!!!
This place was awesome. The neighborhood was nice and quiet (we felt so safe) The property was perfect for our big family of 10. Everyone had there one beds and the place had plenty of towels and blankets. Also plenty of cookware. The lake and the dock were just what we needed for all day outdoor fun. With great fishing, awesome kayaks, floats, and the perfect fire pit for s'mores and family hangouts. Paul was an awesome Host!! Great communication and even accommodated our last minute request. Our family immediately couldn’t wait to come back to Texas and do it all over again at Paul’s place. Highly recommend!

Yearly summer family vacation
Everything was great, our second year at this home. House was clean, back yard mostly clean, noticed some garbage under bushes by back porch, bucket for grill ashes was full so couldn’t dumped ours in there as ask to do by owner, but I considered that as very minor, we took pics when we arrived as we just didn’t want it to be thought that we left it like that. Would definitely go back to this home! Enjoyed our stay!

Beware of property not being in proper condition at time of renting
The upstairs beds did not have clean sheets, all were dirty and there was only 1 light bulb in all the light fixtures upstairs along with light bulbs that were out in the entire house. Had to have cleaning lady come over to fix all that. The house sleeps 14 people but there were only 8 utinsels to use. There was garbage left in the dumpsters that did not pick up for the entire time we rented the house. All this is unacceptable for the price that owner charges.

Chill lakefront getaway
Husband and I were running like crazy due to holidays. As soon aa we entered this house I could feel the world melting away. We had three small dogs with us they are Lap dogs so we were relieved to see couch covers on the sofas. It was neatly decorated with three queen beds down stairs and alot of room if you had kids upstairs or adults to sleep for that matter. We loved this place so much we are considering it for a family event for the future. Nice size kitchen for more than one cook.

Lovely retreat on Lake Livingston
We enjoyed our stay in this large vacation home on Lake Livingston. It was larger enough for all the adults to have their own room. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful sunrises and spectacular sunsets over Lake Livingston. Paul, our host, was thorough in this house messages ensuring we knew all the important details of the house and the area.

Wonderful waterfront home!
Property was great! The window views were beautiful ! Home is amazing and had everything we needed for a wonderful mini-vaca! Even though the weather wasn't good for fishing, we loved being right on the water! So relaxing! We were able to enjoy a few days away from the grind. The house was perfect for my family and we enjoyed every minute of the trip. Thank you ! Hopefully we can return soon!

Awesome house in a great location!
The house exceeded our expectations. It was larger than the pictures showed and the upstairs was very safe for 4 kids from 2 to 6! We all enjoyed swimming at the boat dock and jumping from the rope swing. We utilized the kayaks, grill and fire pit! The house had everything needed for 2 families of 4! We would definitely rebook!

Great place for sunsets!!
We planned a stay so we could get on the lake with good friends. The place was clean with a roomy floor plan. The back yard is very nice with a big porch, fire pit, grill and room for a game of cornhole. We brought our boat so the dock was very convenient with a boat lift which also accommodates 2 jet skis. Plenty of parking across the street for our vehicles and boat trailer. The best thing about this location is the sunset! Very night was just a beautiful sunset celebration!

Fun family vacation!
We had a great time at this lake house. The layout of the house was open and very functional for all ages:) The kitchen had everything we needed, the dining table accommodated us all and made a great game table. We enjoyed the pier and fire pit as much as the inside. The kayaks were a hit as well. It was quiet, peaceful and had great views of the lake. The state park was close by and a nice day excursion.
