The Tucked Away Cabin is nestled in the forest on 2 acres while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living space, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. The Tucked Away is located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan’s downtown, Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. Lake Logan is only a short drive from the cabin and Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friend

Awesome for a group!
This was absolutely perfect for a weekend away with friends. The property has absolute privacy which made spending the evening in the hot tub very relaxing and fun. The hot tub fit 6 of us very easily and probably could have squeezed 8. The living room was big enough to accommodate all 6 of us comfortably and the setup was great for board games.

Lovely in every way❣️ Outside - beatiful fall smell, secluded, awesome firepit and furniture, the BEST hot tub. Inside - clean, cozy, comfy furniture and beds, amazing views out of the kitchen and living room windows.

The property was absolutely beautiful and private. The property was easy to find and well marked. The check-in process was easy. cabin was clean to start but then, All of our drains backed up into the toilets and showers halfway through our stay. staff did respond but did not keep us updated. only fix the issue on the outside and decided to let us clean the backed up crap water and debris in our showers and toilets without providing anything to clean it with. so it was left and we were unable to shower for 2 days on a hiking trip would absolutely never return to a rental that these people own, which is too bad because the trip started great

The property is beautiful! Quiet, close to lots of things to do but away from neighbors and the road. The inside is comfortable and the hot tub and fire pit are lovely. My only complaint was that the water was well water and it smelled like sulfur. So much that we didn’t take showers all weekend. Otherwise. Great experience.

Weekend getaway
Had a great weekend with family and close friends. The house is in a great location close to hiking and in a secluded area. We had our 2 dogs who loved roaming the property. The fire pit was great at night. The hot tub didn’t heat up, but since it was a hot weekend was nice and refreshing to cool off! We took paper plates and cups to save on doing dishes since there wasn’t a dishwasher. This house was perfect size, not too big, all on one floor. Was great for our group!

Perfect getaway to unplug and enjoy nature!
This property was great for my husband and I along with our 1 year old lab. Yard was big enough to throw the ball to him. The hot tub was fantastic after hiking all day. We did have to turn it on to heat up when we arrived at the cabin, but it stayed at temp every day after that. The cabin was spacious for the 2 of us. While there is internet, please note that it is slow to respond. There is no cell phone service at the house. If you do not load your destination on your phone to where you are going before you leave the house, it will take quite some time to get into a service zone for your phone. Home did not have a wine/bottle opener that we could find. Luckily we had one in our gear. AC in the bedroom we stayed in had to be continually restarted, but worked when on. To the property owners, there were wasps flying into the front of the hot tub. We killed 3 as they didn’t seem to be aggressive, but if the home is empty for a week and someone turns on the hot tub, they may get swarmed. Overall great stay!
