Great and not so great
Will review the great part first....the beach is literally steps away and the pool even closer. We came here simply for that reason and it was a small condo at only 16 units. It allowed more of a quiet atmosphere without lots of people around. The bad...these units are so outdated and old and need to be redone. The furniture is old and ugly and uncomfortable. Not to mention the tv is on the wall and you can only see it if you are laying in bed...the sofa is under and away from the tv. I am sure this is because of the smallness of the room but as I said...it is very dated and not at all pleasing to look at. One more wonderful thing to add though...the rabbits who came out to nibble on the grass every morning and we had so much enjoyment out of watching them while drinking coffee. I just think they need to do more landscaping to update this condo unit and make this more pleasurable to be there. All in all...it was what we expected.

We have been coming down to Longboat Key for years with family but since it was just the two of us we didn’t need a bigger place, so my wife found The Beach on VRBO and we remember seeing The Beach as sometimes we have stayed next door. But it had a studio unit! Perfect! We loved the property! nicely maintained right on the beach and it is clean and small enough without being overcrowded! Great stay

Comfortable, small place just as described. Great location. Steps from the beach. Well equipped with everything we needed including plenty of extra linens, bbq and free washer/dryer very close to room. Lovely office staff. Very firm bed.

Amazing Spot!
We’ve been coming to Longboat Key/Anna Maria Island for years. We love being right on the beach, only steps to the ocean. Although this place is small, it is PERFECT for two people & you don’t get any closer to the beach. My only feedback for improvement is newer, softer linens for the bed. The bed is a Murphy bed, and it was much more comfortable than I anticipated. Definitely stay here!

This place was clean, it was an amazing location, the staff amazing, it was an extremely small room with a Murphy bed that was very uncomfortable, two very tiny pillows, I actually slept with couch pillow.

It was a nice place on the beach and I booked it because of the beach. If you're into walking to restaurants or shopping, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a quiet place where you can walk out your door to the beach, then I'd recommend.

Great Place, Amazing Location!
This property was perfect for what I needed and my budget! It is super clean and décor is updated. I was a little worried about the bed as one review did not find much good to say about sleeping on the mattress, so I wanted to say that the mattress, although firm, is definitely "sleepable!" Absolutely LOVED the location. Four/five miles to Lido beach for entertainment but a quiet beach with not many people in front of the accommodation. I did not use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. Other guests were extremely pleasant, respectful, and quiet. Lovely stay. My first time there.
