Welcome to our updated and remodeled Classic Spanish-inspired Duplex (Lower Unit), located on a corner lot in the heart of Belmont Shore. Situated between the world-famous 2nd Street and the beach, our property offers easy access to wonderful restaurants, shopping options, close proximity to the bay, and various recreational amenities, all within a short walk.

The unit has 2 large BR & 1.75 baths, and a full large kitchen, fully stocked with a blender, coffee maker, pots & pans to cook with, a dining, and a large living room. It also comes with a full washer and dryer.

This property exudes unique charm with its distinct architectural characteristics of the era, including coved and rounded ceilings, plaster walls, double doors and windows, shutters, built-ins, nooks, original hardwood flooring, and open floor plans.

The unit offers a front lawn, perfect for relaxation and hanging out, as well as a back patio exclusive to the lower unit. It provides a much quieter environment compared to properties near 2nd Street or the beach. Being situated on a corner means you won't have neighbors' noise on both sides. This feature makes our unit highly desirable, as properties close to 2nd Street or the beach often suffer from significant traffic noise. Additionally, our unit has central heating, which is uncommon but essential for chilly evenings, and portable AC units to keep you cool during the summer. We've equipped it with super-fast fiber-optic WIFI and a Minut Noise Monitor for your convenience. Moreover, a built-in water filter system ensures you can fill up your water bottles with fresh and delicious water.

Our property is situated in a safe and quiet neighborhood, nestled between the world-famous 2nd Street and the beach on Belmont Shore. It is a perfect beach getaway for those seeking a relaxing vacation. You will find restaurants, shopping options, and other attractions within walking distance. Downtown Long Beach and major highways are easily accessible by car.

Getting around:
Our location offers the best of both worlds, being positioned between the world-famous 2nd Street and the beach. You are just two blocks away from a variety of restaurants, shopping venues, and bars. Engaging in beach activities is convenient, with a 6-mile bike and rollerblade path along the sand, options for sunbathing and swimming at the bay's lagoons, and various water sports activities such as boating, kayaking, windsurfing, jet-skiing, and water skiing (rentals available in the area). Taking a stroll along 2nd Street allows you to explore its shops, restaurants, and boutiques. Additionally, you can indulge in romantic gondola rides on Naples Island or enjoy movies on the beach. The area also offers a diverse nightlife scene, featuring numerous clubs, coffeehouses, and restaurants.

If you're looking to work out during your stay, you can visit ICONIX, a resort-style gym located just two blocks from the house. They offer a free 3-day pass, and there is no pressure to join. *****Please take note that street sweeping occurs on Thursdays and Fridays, with different sides of the street being affected each day from 9-11 am. Make sure to check for signs indicating which side to park on for each specific day.

Our unit is not suitable for parties and loud music. If your intention is to come to Belmont Shores to party and blast music, this unit may not be the right fit for you. However, our fantastic place is perfect for large families or groups of friends who want to enjoy a wonderful time in this amazing neighborhood and duplex.

To maintain a peaceful environment, we have implemented the Minut decimal and motion monitoring system in our unit. This system helps prevent parties from taking place. It does not include any video or audio surveillance, but rather monitors the decibel levels and motion to detect the number of people in the unit.

Please be aware that quiet hours in the neighborhood are observed from 10 pm to 7 am. Our Minut system ensures compliance with this policy by automatically notifying you via text and/or phone call if the decibel limit exceeds 75 for more than 10 minutes between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am.

We kindly request your attention to a particular aspect of our property. Our space may not be suitable for young children who are prone to running around indoors or in hallways.

While we certainly welcome families, we feel it's essential to highlight that our property may have certain features or limitations that could pose safety concerns for energetic youngsters. I really loved the location. The kitchen was nice. Had one issue with a shower curtain that kept falling down but that's an easy fix. Communication with owner was excellent. The recommended gym was fantastic. I definitely would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was better than we had expected by far. The property was clean and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location was absolutely ideal. We used it as a 2 night stop for a cruise and didn’t have a vehicle but it was easy walking distance to both the beach and 2nd Street shops and restaurants. Short visit in LB
The property is charming on the outside and inside. The parking was no trouble and the kitchen was well stocked. My only concern was the damp and musty smell. When we arrived there was an air dehumidifier running and a smell of mildew that never fulling went away. Not sure of the reason but it was a great neighborhood to spend a few days in. Walked the beach and eat well at the nearby eateries. Recommend it highly!

We all very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was easy to work and communicate with. The property is bigger than it looks in the pictures and that was a good surprise. Nicely located in Belmont Shores area. Walking distance to many things including beach. The house slept comfortably a 2yo, 5yo, 11yo and 2 adults. The area is very nice with many pleasant people. Parking can be an issue but overall we didn't have any trouble. Anywhere you would stay in this area you will have the same possible issues. It is just how it is In Belmont Shores but very much worth the location if planning to stay in Long Beach. This is the area you want to stay when visiting Long Beach and this is an excellent property to stay at. Would recommend to others.

Vacation with the Old Folks
The house provides a great central location for all kinds of activities. We did everything from tour Queen Mary and the Getty, to a day at Knott's Berry Farm and dinners in Laguna and Medieval Times. The neighborhood is fabulous. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The host is very responsive when we had questions and needs. The only thing to be careful of is the parking. It is difficult to find parking and none is provided by the house. All in all, a great trip!
