Bright, airy, and BEAUTIFUL sums up this space!  Brand new kitchen and appliances, outstanding design, close to nightlife, incredible dining, shops, and boutiques! Oh, and delicious food downstairs!

The Space:
Did we also mention the space sits atop one of Louisville's BEST brunch restaurants? (closes at 3pm and you can't hear a thing from the apartment.  Very quiet) Enjoy the free smells from the super cozy patio and have your first meal of the day planned out already!  If you choose to stay in and cook, we believe you'll find that the kitchen is well prepared and should have most of what you could need.  

Easy parking (in rear of restaurant), 24 hours self-check in, and a highly walkable location that's just minutes from downtown rounds out this incredible space.

Always happy!
This is our 2nd time - perfect for what we need. Within walking distance to pubs - and Fork & Barrel is a must! This little appartement is a true gem. Same price per night as good hotels but with added privacy. Just perfect and hassledeee.

Perfect for the price.
Great location. The restaurant downstairs is amazing. The bedrooms were located at the front of the unit, which we didn't mind. Lots of light. Small, but has everything you need. The owner was fantastic.

The entry door lock is broken. Had to leave everyday with the door unlocked. The kitchen table and chairs were broken , dirty, and disgusting. Bedroom was dark and musty. I slept in the hallway on a day bed….ontop of the covers. Also, when I took the pillowcases off of the pillows to wash them, the pillows were full of stains and very nasty

Quiet and convenient
This property is in the perfect location for my needs on this short trip- I was able to get to New Albany Indiana in minutes, and found great places to eat not only downstairs but the Nulu area is super close as well. Everything is neat and clean and the owner is very responsive, I just had one question and he answered immediately. I will stay again when I come to Louisville!

Spacious Living Area
The living space of this rental is huge. As others have reviewed, one of the "bedrooms" is actually the foyer to the rental. The second bedroom opens into this same foyer space, right at the front door. Beds were not comfortable and lighting at night was non-existent. It was a quick 10 minute drive to the riverfront which was great.

Louisville Marathon Trip
The property was as listed. The apartment is above a restaurant, but we heard very little noise from the restaurant. Most things in the apartment looked new or lightly used. All the equipment like kitchen appliances, a/c, washer/dryer, etc. worked just fine. There was a good quantity of information about things to do in Louisville. Overall, a good experience.

Cute place! We had a nice trip.
Pros: - cute little apartment - clean - good location - restaurant below was so good Cons: - no clean towels or extra linens (towels were still wet in the washer and smelled like they had been sitting there a few days) - the twin bed is in the entryway… not really a room - tv remote batteries dead (not a huge deal, but would’ve been nice if there had been extra to replace them) - was a little noisy when the restaurant below was busy - only half a roll of toilet paper - lightbulbs out, it got pretty dark in the living area All minor things, overall a great stay.

Safe, Convenient Location
The owners made check in and check out very easy. It was super close and an easy route into downtown Louisville! We really enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant below the property. A deeper clean was recommended to the owners.

Not a good start to a vacation
I must say my first stay ever in an vrbo left a lot to be desired. I have worked in the hospitality industry in Telluride for many years. First thing that hit me were the beds! Which are basically in a hall, and immediately in the front door, filthy, stains with zero clean bedding, no mattress covers so the piss stains and "other " stains are visible! All the bedding including the bedding pillows were on the floor! UNCLEAN The floors were filthy. Un-mopped un-vacuumed. As we made our way into the living room its very cold, A dead plant in the planter obviously this place is not well maintained. In the bathroom Zero clean towels Zero toilet paper just what's left on an almost empty toilet paper roll. I found the towels in the washer wet and sour. No clean sheets no clean pillows all of them were balled up on the floor! The kitchen just gross! The stove top was greasy and food stuck to it. Leftover rotisserie chicken that was obviously left in that refrigerator for days! The prior guests at least loaded the dishwasher. I believe the trash was not taken out and the kitchen table... come on! It looks like someone went to the dump and put legs on a piece of trash and cleaned it up. Antiques look great if they are straight and not look like something was sat in the middle of the table to bow it down! The living room rug is filthy. The location is really convenient however it is over a restaurant and noisy at times.

Good spot
Its a good spot. The neighborhood and restaurant downstairs is great - not too crowded, great breakfast food & coffee. The location is great - downtown louisville is only a few minutes away. The place is a bit old and probably needs some tlc. It could have been cleaner and we had to ask a few times for the entry code [it was supposed to auto-email], but everything worked out & we had a good trip.

The area of stay was okay.. the cleanliness of the property was lacking. Dead bugs, floors were very dirty like it was not mopped in weeks- my niece was crawling on floor and her knees were horribly dirty. Black and milds in cup in window- bathroom writing on wall.. pee stains on mattress- it was an alright stay but one should come into a clean place -

I have waited over a week to write this review hoping that I might change my mind regarding this stay, but I haven't. BOOK ELSEWHERE! I was in town for an event 5 hours from my home the day of check and had not received any check in instructions from the owner. I emailed them hoping to at least find out what side of the city I needed to be in, I completely understand that check in is 4:00pm I was not trying to check in early, just trying to get information. No response. At 4:15 I called VRBO and explained the situation, they tried to contact the owner with no success then while on the phone with the rep the owner magically emails the check in information. What a chump move. No sorry just a Howdy, really. After the stay, the owner emailed asking to email any recommendations or comments to them privately. No way! With the hundreds of places to stay in Louisville please book elsewhere!!

Perfect weekend getaway!
This place was clean, bright, and airy! The detailed touches truly made this place unique and I would absolutely re-book this place! I stayed for a long weekend with my husband and we enjoyed the neighborhood and also the super yummy brunch spot downstairs! It was super close to downtown which makes this a great spot to be in when you want to stay and get a feel for the local vibe with access to downtown in minutes! Thanks for a great stay!
