Important Property Notes
•Due to the higher elevations of Western North Carolina (2000+ Feet) and the potential for inclement weather, use of an all wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended during the winter months.
• Travel Insurance Recommended. During the winter months, we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.
• Noise Ordinance
Mars Hill Hideaway is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance between 9:00 p.m. and 8 a.m. and has a very low noise tolerance. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Ski Resort Changes. Please note, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort has been sold, and rebranded to Hatley's Point by new ownership. The resort is currently under renovations, and expected to open at a later date to be determined.
