Lakeside Family Gathering

Whether you need time to connect to yourself or each other, there is something about being next to water that holds space for both.

This beautiful lakeside home sets directly on the lake. If you are inside you will likely find yourself gazing out the 2 story wall of windows that face the lake. The beautiful sunsets over the water alone are worth the stay. They are breathtaking.

Yes sleeping is important but we know you are not gathering with your people to be worrying about sleeping quarters so rest assured we have you covered comfortably.

The master bedroom has a king size bed. The connected bathroom offers both a shower and bath and a large double vanity.

The upstairs has a landing that is great for time-outs when the kids need a little breather from each other. (wink-wink)

Two bedrooms upstairs are super spacious with multiple beds and lots of floor space for belongings and keeping you from feeling cramped or crowded. Both bedrooms also have large closets.
There is a full size bed (and desk if your are missing the office)in the 4th bedroom.
The bathroom upstairs features a double vanity and large walk in shower. This shower is literally big enough for a mama to hop in with her littles and take them out of their swimsuits and bath them at the same time.

The kitchen is ideal for multiple cooks or wanna be cooks. The open floor plan allows for uninterrupted connecting around meal times. It includes a gas cooktop, double ovens and microwave as well as all the needed utensils and appliances.

The front yard has space for littles to run and play while adults watch from comfort of the covered/shaded porch. The side deck is for the grill master and those who want to shoot the breeze while the burgers sizzle. There is space for horseshoes and a firepit both overlooking the water at different levels. The deck includes a table for those who want to dine outside and offers lounge chairs for those who want to sun bathe.

The lake offers a boat ramp with in 1/2 a mile at Elm Point. The area has a nice cove, perfect for skiing, jet skis, swimming, and fishing or just skipping rocks. Your boat can be docked right on the shore of the house.
*please note, going from the house to the water is a steep incline.

There are gas stations and famous Italian restaurants just 10 min away for the nights everyone is too tired to cook and tired of sandwiches.

There is a large laundry where everyone's wet clothes can hang to dry and a full size washer and dryer so you don't have to worry if you only brought one set of shorts.

Beautiful lake views
Enjoyed time with family - Pros: There were 14 of us and house accommodated us all. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Check in was easy. Loved the lake view from the deck. Had plenty of towels and paper products available. Air conditioning and hot water worked well for us. Loved the showers. Was nice to have a washer and dryer available. Cons: House exterior is in need of some TLC. We didn't recognize it when we drove up as you could not see the front porch because of all the overgrown shrubs. Neighborhood seemed kind of sketchy - although we had no problems with neighbors. The yard area needs a good cleaning - trash like old grills, refrigerator, broken yard games, broken bench, old patio furniture cushions need to be thrown away. The living room windows that overlook the lake are so dirty and stained that it is hard to see out. Kitchen window over sink is very dirty. One bedroom was missing blinds on one window and the other one was broken. Lake was too shallow for good fishing at the house but a short drive down the road was more successful.

Beautiful Location just a little warm.
We had a great time, there were 20 total ranging from 80-to 12. Everyone was able to make it to the water easily, with plenty of bedding, towels, and all the household things that made the trip go smoothly. The only real issue that we had was the air conditioners couldn't keep up with the Oklahoma heat. The owners were very responsive and sent out a Heat and Air person to investigate. But after a run to the store for some portable fans we were able get it comfortable inside. The kids had a great time playing the record player and listened to "Sweet Caroline" on repeat!

I wouldn’t suggest this home
Walked into a super hot, broken ac house in the middle of summer. Even though we got it on we still had to go buy fans to stay cool. Shower smelled. Towels smells. Found glass in carpet in bedroom. Bugs in one of the beds. Hornets flying around everywhere by house. Things falling apart or not working. Not any common space to accommodate a group more than 6. Bad experience for a big group trying to have a nice vacation!

Perfect stay!!
We had such a wonderful time at this lakehouse!! The property was just perfect for our weekend reunion. The lake is beautiful. There is a great amount of space to sleep, shower, play games, have a movie night, and cook and eat meals together! The vinyls in the living room are a huge plus, we had them playing all weekend! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Every year we travel with with friends and spend a few nights on a lake or beach. This year the listing caught my eye from the beautiful pictures and the description met our needs. There are lots of things we loved but also some that made our stay less than ideal. Loved: Quiet lake (the only boats we saw were the neighbors) Quiet and super friendly neighbors Right on the water Excellent for swimming, be prepared for a rock and clay shoreline Enough beds for everyone AC worked well downstairs, window units upstairs kept it cool enough Communication with the host was great until we got there and had a problem. Never heard back on our issues. Dislikes: - The front yard was overgrown and the weeds made it impossible to use the outdoor games we brought. -The deck was nice but the overgrowth of vegetation blocked views or made you not want to sit under the branches of overgrowth on the outdoor couch. The front vegetation was as bad as the back. -So many wasps: we went through cans of wasp spray we went and bought, and had a couple of stings and close calls. -The double ovens are a nice feature but we tried using the top one and the house filled up with smoke (they aren’t vented externally). I ran the self cleaning feature and it was fine after that. -The free standing water dispenser only dispensed hot water. -Tried communicating with the host the first afternoon about some of these but never heard back.

Relaxing Family time
Very responsive host! There's something for everyone there, and the house is well equipped. It was even a little dog hanging around that the kids loved. I believe it belong to one of the neighbors but the kids enjoyed playing with it. It was a little learning curve with the hot water because the water has to run a little while before it gets hot. They have some kind of on demand tank. There were several games there but we didn't play them, tvs in the master bedroom and the living room. I think it's DirecTV. Lots of exercise equipment, we didn't use it to be either. The view is beautiful! And the kids enjoyed playing in the lake of course. Wonderful place for a family gathering and unplugging.

Great place for a party with enough room for all.
Big home, HUGE deck, fire pit and close to the water, what else do you really need. Our 3 night stay with 12 people was enjoyable and everything we needed was available. Kelli answered all my questions and was very generous. The location is close to town for any last minute needs, and we even got to squeeze in a lunch at Pete's.

The property is a nice getaway, the location is beautiful. All our needs were met and I couldn't have a better host. Kelli was outstanding. It was a little unnerving initially when trying to find it. I passed it a couple of times but after some help it turned out great. I will return!!

We had our first family reunion since just before covid, so it was great finding this place! Everyone felt at home and were able to relax amd enjoy themselves. The kids rarely left the lake since it's essentially the backyard!

Great Family Getaway
Nice location! House is big enough for everyone, lots of beds, walking down to the lake for fishing, very short drive to Robbers Cave, quiet neighbors, house if stocked with paper products however could use a few more bath and kitchen towels~ need a bigger skillet and replace cookie sheets but other than that the kitchen is very well stocked. We had a great family vacation here!

Great place for family vacations!
This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we’ve had so much fun both times. We had 12 people this time and there was plenty of room. The view of the sunset is awesome and deck is perfect for just chilling outside. There is a fire pit for s’mores. The kids love playing at the edge of the lake. The location is quiet and comfortable. The owners are super sweet! We plan to stay again each year for our family vacations! It’s a fantastic place to make memories!

We intended to vaca at a lake fishing and swimming. The location is not great for fishing but excellent to swim/relax. Neighbors are close, but very quiet at the time we vaca. House spacious enough for all to be comfortable.

Great for large gatherings
We had an amazing time, we had 7 adults siblings and thier spouses and our children and there was still plenty of room. The kitchen was big enough for 3 of us to prepare meals at once, the only thing I realized the property didn't have was a slow-cooker but we didn't mind because I had brought mine for Chilli and cheese nachos, the kids had so much fun we brought a projector and made pallets upstairs for the kids they watched movies while us adults played poker and dominoes. The owner left us a nice gift bag with stuff to make smores. It truly was an amazing experience, we stayed the end of July and sadly it rained all 3 days we were there but, it was a nice break from the heat, and the porch was very serene during the storms. Over-all extremely pleasurable and very spacious, definitely plan on booking again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay!! It was clean and Kelli was an awesome hostess!! We will definitely consider coming back!! Enjoyed the view of the lake!! My grandkids really enjoyed swimming in the lake!! Overall an awesome place!!
