Summary:
Bring the outdoors in with this cozy cottage located around the corner from the Memphis Zoo! This newly listed Airbnb apartment is complete with a full bathroom, kitchenette, and a large flat screen TV—Netflix and HBO included.

The Space:
Thoughtfully curated decor in a Southern yet Scandinavian white & bright color scheme, this master suite exudes comfort and urges guests to take it easy.

There are two sweet dogs who live freely on the property.

Guest’s have access to the guest house and the courtyard.

The Neighborhood:
Voted one of the five safest neighborhoods in Memphis, Midtown is one of the best neighborhoods in the city for singles and young professionals. Located just east of Downtown Memphis, this neighborhood is ideal for those who want to live, work, and play close to the city center.

Getting Around:
Drive, walk, bike, and Trolley—There's no wrong way to get around Midtown.

Base trolley fares are $1 per ride and daily passes can be purchased for $3.50. The 2.5 mile Riverfront Loop route is a relief for tired feet and offers a picturesque view of the Mississippi River. The Madison Avenue trolley line gives you access to Midtown Memphis.

Located conveniently close to the Memphis Zoo and Overton Park, this studio with waterfall in the courtyard is spectacular. The fire pit is right outside with seating and wood provided. Comfortable bed and seating area inside.

Horrible Experience
We booked this as a "staycation" and specifically booked because the property looked stunning. it is not specifically listed as a "MIL" quarters where the property managers can see you from the room, so it felt like there was no privacy. The courtyard was disgusting and littered with junk, cigarette butts and other trash. The room smelled heavily of mildew and being in there for 10 min max made my throat itch for the next day and a half. I would not recommend to anyone

Fantastic Location, Messy Courtyard
The location here could NOT BE BEAT! It was fantastically located to many attractions within walking distance or a very short drive. The neighborhood and house is beautiful. The studio was very comfortable, though we unexpectedly did need to provide our own coffee. The refrigerator stopped working and it was promptly replaced which we very much appreciated. The courtyard however is shared by other people who do not clean up. There was consistent trash, dirty dishes, wet towels, shoes, cigarette butts, etc. scattered around making it less of a serene hang out than it could have been. LOVED the fountain though, I want one!!

A really nice historic property next to zoo and a large park. Also a lovely are to walk in the surround historic neighborhood. Property was clean and comfortable and hosts were attentive. Minimal studio kitchen with microwave and toaster oven, fridge. Grocery store and restaurants available with short drives. Street parking was readily available.

Great Location, Cute Room, Bad Communication
Location was perfect for our needs. Room was the right size and had a great coffee selection which we really loved. No complaints at all about the room itself. The main reason we chose this spot other than the location was the beautiful courtyard with the fountain. It was not in use and had several old pool toys floating around. There were general items strown around the courtyard and on the tables. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy it. Check in process was not smooth. Got an initial email when I booked letting me know I would be receiving check in instructions. By 4pm (check in is 3) we had not received any info. Emailed but no reply. Pulled up to the location and there was a man sitting outside who didn't seem to know why we were there. Another lady came out and asked what we needed. These were folks who stayed in the main house and are not associated with the rental unit. We had to sit outside on the steps with our things until the lady was able to get a hold of the owners and get us the code to get in. They did eventually email the check in instructions at 630pm which was a moot point by then.

Epic place for Memphis vacation
Stayed here for a nice weekend getaway to Memphis. The property felt very secure being in a nice part of town and having a large fence around the entire place. Inside it was very clean and well put together with a nice bed and shower. Would stay here again if ever heading back to Memphis. Thanks again

Close to the zoo
We got in late as we flew in from Seattle. I did not get a proactive message about how to access the property so as soon as we landed I sent a message requesting the information and it was sent promptly. It was a little hard to find in the dark but it's right on the corner and looks exactly like the photos. No issues with street parking as it's a quiet neighborhood. It's just around the corner from the zoo and takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the entrance. It is about 15 minutes from downtown though and in retrospect we went there several times in our 3 days so we should have stayed closer. Inside, the floors and tables clearly hadn't been cleaned. There was a bit of back and forth with the property management but eventually they got the photos I took. They did refund the cleaning fee after our trip and offered a future 1-night stay but we won't be back. There is also a separate fee charged by the property management for using a credit card that is not anywhere that I could find on the listing so beware of that. It was about $15 on our 3-night stay. We met one of the dogs and it was very friendly and loved being pet. Also, we didn't use it because we were too busy, but the outside area was peaceful and seemed like a nice place to relax.

The property was very nice, quiant, original and very inviting. I would love to stay again. Just a few things could use attention. Lighting in bathroom needs to be brighter around sink (for us gals). Refrigerator did not get items cold even on highest setting. Could use small table in kitchen area with 2 chairs instead of bench. Extra towels needed. Thanks for having us!!

Tranquility in Memphis
We had a wonderful stay at the guest house! So convenient to all downtown attractions; far enough to be out of the city hub-bub; and great communication with hosts! Loved the house and neighborhood—perfect size for two, quiet and a relaxing stay. Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We’ll be back for sure! It was a cute studio great location. When we got there it wasn't that clean. The floors hadn't been cleaned and there were dirty dishes and a bit of an ant infestation. The bed was broken and the owners were communicative but it really didn't get fixed which made the mattress not lay flat. If it was flat it would have been the most comfortable bed. Also there were dogs on the property. That is fine but they weren't leashed and they didn't seem comfortable with us being there and seemed like they might get aggressive if we were too close to their owners. The owner of the dog didn't call them back or tell us if they were friendly. Overall pleasant and great location. Just a few things that can easily be corected.
