Short weekend stay
I’ll first start by saying the property and room size/finishes, location and views are beautiful on ocean front side. That’s mostly why we booked. However that is the ONLY good thing.
1. Check in process - TERRIBLE. Terrible CX, no one knows how to communicate, or set right expectations.
2. Expect to pay additional fees that are hidden in fine print of this listing. $35 for valet parking a day, $40 a night for resort fees to use amenities. Can’t use before checkin or after check out .
3. Our unit specifically had been empty for 2 days prior to our arrival and we arrived at the resort at 12 hoping to be able to at least use amenities - it was pouring down rain, no big deal we found somewhere to eat and walked back in pouring rain, kids were freezing it was 1 hour before check in and they refused to allow us in early. Eve k though unit had been empty for 3 days? Said house keeping could t get there due to hurricane which didn’t hit this area so that doesn’t make sense. Anyways we sat in the lobby for an hour waiting u til 4pm on the dot.
4. Drinks are insanely expensive $21 for a regular margarita/ but $6 on HH 5-8. ??? Makes sense
5. Now the room. Room was filthy. Refrigerator nasty, filthy dishes, towels and bedding didn’t look or feel fresh.
