Vintage Lake Michigan Beach Cottage: 4br + loft, 3ba-Sleeps 17

Alegria est un charmant chalet de plage situé à Sheridan Beach. Cette adorable location de 4 chambres + loft, 3 salles de bain est parfaite pour votre escapade! Situé à seulement 2 pâtés de maisons de la meilleure plage du lac Michigan, ce petit bijou offre tellement! Ouvrez la porte du salon confortable baigné de soleil vous accueillant dès que vous franchissez la porte! La chambre principale est au rez-de-chaussée avec salle de bain complète. La deuxième histoire a une salle de bain complète, un grand loft lumineux (avec TV / DVD) qui peut accueillir cinq personnes - idéal pour les enfants! Hors du loft est une autre chambre avec lit queen et portes françaises à une terrasse privée. La cuisine mise à jour est totalement équipée avec une salle à manger spacieuse et des sièges pour tout le gang. Le sous-sol comprend un salon séparé, deux chambres (pouvant accueillir ensemble 6 personnes facilement) et une salle de bains avec douche. Mais ce qui est vraiment le plus unique à Alegria, c'est l'espace extérieur où vous êtes complètement entouré d'arbres et de sentiers pédestres, offrant intimité et sérénité. Vous l'aimerez tellement que vous voudrez préparer vos repas sur le gril à gaz à l'extérieur sur le pont et dîner sous le ciel étoilé. Location, location, location
This house was close to perfect for us - three families with kids sharing a getaway. We walked to the beach, to the zoo, and to the lighthouse. A short drive to the dunes and outlet mall. Great living and dining space. The big table doubled for evening games. The kitchen worked well - we fixed all our meals at the house. Great to have a dishwasher. The first and second floor sleeping spaces are wonderful. The basement ... is still a basement, and the bedrooms down there are certainly functional, but not as inviting as the others. Very helpful to have three bathrooms! We were very satisfied!

Great space that easily accommodated our family of 16. Nice backyard deck in quiet wooded setting. Our kids loved exploring the woods behind the house. Nicely decorated space and well equipped kitchen. Walk to beach was manageable with small kids and wagons. Great memories created!

Walk to the beach on Lake Michigan
Home was clean and had everything you need for your stay. Well stocked kitchen, gas grill. Private back deck. Walk to the beach on Lake Michigan and had beach chairs that can be used. The only downfall is there really is no yard for the kids to play in. We spent a lot of time at the beach and had a wonderful family vacation.

Great house for our group to spend the weekend catching up and relaxing! Really enjoyed the extra bonus of watching three deer in the back yard every morning during breakfast after we enjoying the quick stroll down to the beach.

Perfect getaway near the beach
This house was perfect for our family of 13.House was very spacious and clean.We enjoyed our afternoon short walk to the beach,and enjoyed the beautiful sunset and views.We enjoyed the parks and the zoo near by as well.The deck was nice too and loved seeing the wild tukeys in the morning near the hill behind the house.Overall this house was perfect and relaxing for our weekend getaway!Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.We will definitely be back!

Sweet & short weekend stay
Our families second visit to the area and we brought friends along with us this time! Perfect location for us- short trip to the amazing zoo, walked on the pier and the kids loved the beach (even though it was kinda cold& windy), and had an amazing lunch at Dunebillies. The back deck was great and we saw deer on the hill behind us every morning and evening.

Great location
The property was easy to find. It was in close proximity to the beach, the zoo, a large park, and other places of interests. We had a good size group and there was ample space for everyone. Parking was limited but the neighborhood was quiet, and the people around the area were very accommodating it solved our parking issue. Todd was really quick to respond to our inquiries and request.

This was a wonderful family vacation place. My daughter and her husband, my son and his wife, myself (grandma) and my 10 grandchildren had a great time, with plenty of room to sleep. Some of the beds weren’t the best. The queen bed in the loft was like sleeping on the floor according to the couple that slept on it. We took the foam topper off a bed in the basement and put it on the bed in the loft, which helped. The 2 metal bunk beds squeaked so the mattresses were put on the floor. The dryer squealed loudly, so we just made sure to run it only during the day and kept the door shut. The tub and shower in the loft area had some mold on the caulking around the tub and on the shower curtain, which was torn. We loved sitting on the deck, especially in the evening. The house next door had occupants on a couple of the days that we were there, which was no problem until they started smoking marijuana, which drove us indoors. In spite of these things, which I am positive that they will fix now that know about them, our stay was great and we would return.

The house worked perfectly for our 4 families. The kitchen was exceedingly well supplied. The proximity to the beach was great. We loved the deck and backyard especially the treehouse! The yard could use a little work there is a large limb hanging from a tree that should come down and the deck flowers and beach chairs had been neglected but we cleaned it up and enjoyed all of it. We’ve been staying in the area for 3 years now and we all felt this house served us the best. Thank you Todd!!

We were in a great location for everything we wanted to check out in the area, although we were quite disappointed that the splash pad at the park seems to be shut down, and that was one of the area amenities listed that helped to make our decision. Maybe update the site? Other than that, everyone found something to enjoy! Thanks for having us!

Perfect place to stay
I want to thank Todd and Joy for opening their home to us! It was a perfect location for an out of town wedding spot for our family and friends. The layout was perfect for different people coming and going throughout the week. We even hosted a rehearsal dinner there that was perfect with the outside deck and the kitchen setup. The three levels was great we never felt crowded or even had trouble with everyone getting ready the morning of the wedding. The short walk to the beach was perfect - many trips to the beach for walks without having people in our backyard. Would definitely stay there again and suggest to any family and friends as the perfect place - always felt safe even at night when walking.

Spacious, quiet setting, close to beach, plenty of things to do both in and outside of property. Cabinets fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Temperature cool throughout the house. Cleanliness was a 3 out of 5. Hair left in shower and bathroom floors. Upstairs pull out bed linens had not been changed both hair and dirt present. Wife was not happy with that at all.
