Perfect Escape

Time to relax, reconnect and explore. Come home to enjoy a family getaway, a peaceful retreat or a group gathering. This cabin offers privacy, comfort and relaxation. Enjoy our open floor plan on the main level - 1 bedroom, full kitchen, full bath and washer/dryer. Third floor has 1 bedroom, full bathroom and a loft with 3 queen beds. Enjoy a game of pool or darts in the basement which also includes 1 bedroom, a half bath and a 65" TV with a bar and kitchenette.
Relax in the massage chair on the main floor, the hot tub on the back deck or enjoy a peaceful walk on the trails of 84 acres. Enjoy our propane fire pit on the patio, or throw some wood on the fire located across the pond. We are located 1 mile from Reeds Gap State Park, approximately 10 minutes to Rt.322 and 29 miles to Beaver Stadium, State College. We are close to many local wedding venues, wineries, restaurants and attractions, but still tucked away enough to enjoy your own privacy. Sleeps 12 comfortably.

Absolutely stunning!!
Words can’t express the long weekend our Family shared together at this beautiful property! From the beginning, the listing was informative. I reached out to the Host (Dustin) on several occasions with silly questions. The response was very quick & informative. As this was the first at this property, we carried a lot in unneeded items, the home was completely stocked! From great board games, pool table, big screen TVs, Massage chair, hot tub, fireplace, (etc) we enjoyed relaxation & fun. The property was STUNNING! Wooded, peaceful, wildlife.. the home, clean and it felt like home! We are so glad we chose this property & highly recommend!

What a wonderful vacation! House is clean and well stocked with what ever the family needs (bring your own toiletries tho) . Even though the listing says there’s no bathtub, there is one. And there are 3 proper bedroom besides the loft for sleeping. It was hard to see that from the pictures but the video shows it. The first floor bathroom is not part of the bedroom but directly across from it. Not technically a master bathroom however it is the only room in that hall way so it was fine. Plenty of pillows and blankets for this season. And the mattresses are comfortable! There isn't a dining room table but there are folding tables and chairs that can be popped open in the ample space between the living room and kitchen. The deck spaces are delightful and comfortable with seating for plenty- swings, rockers, chairs etc. The yard looks beautiful with the outdoor lights in. Very sweet. And the landscaping is so well done around the creek. We got great photos there. And fire practice any one??? Shooting range nearby added some great background “music”.Justin and Sabrina were responsive to all our questions. We had such a nice time! Thank you to the Pollocks!

Serene !
Love this property ! My husband was waiting for deer to show up and 2 of them finally did !! The setting of the property was amazing so quiet ! Was more than enough room for my family ! The young adults loved the basement as did the older. We all were downstairs playing Darts everyday. Dustin was very helpful I asked a couple of questions and felt like I was a bothersome but he always said no bother at all. If I had any questions at all feel free to contact me. Thank you again for allowing us to have our family Thanksgiving here!!

Great place!
We had a small family retreat of 4 generations at the Perfect Escape. It was a very beautiful and impressive property. 3 couples stayed and we all had our own rooms and bathrooms! We had visitors through the day and the little kiddos enjoyed the hot tub, massage chair, games and running around. The host was very responsive and helpful.

This was a perfect quiet spot to get away for a long weekend. The cabin was clean, had lots of leasure activity opportunities, and enough space for large groups. Easy drive to State College and surrounding areas. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Nice Quiet Getaway
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. With beautiful scenery, large kitchen, and two large rooms for gathering, we couldn't ask for any better. The wifi is fast and the cabin was very clean and tidy. I'd say the only negatives were the relatively few serving platters/bowls/plates and grilling tools. Otherwise, highly recommend for getting away from everything.

We had plenty of space for the 13(?) Friends and family that we had. There was so much to do on property and it was in a great area. There wasnt a lot super close by, but had a lot of options about 20-30 minutes away. We all had so much fun and look forward to booking this place again (hopefully very soon)!

Wonderful Relaxing Seculuded Home
This is one of the best houses we have rented through VRBO. Everything was perfect. The house was emaculate. We were looking to be close to the mountains and hiking, which this was a great location for. It was also great for hanging out and relaxing. The hosts know what they are doing and we are very thankful for a great vacation.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this property and we are in love with it; it’s beautiful, clean, secluded, and every time I think of some thing that I might want, I find it. For example, one night I was a bit chilly and looked in the bottom drawer of my bedroom to find a weighted blanket… perfection. If I had to complain about anything it would only be that we couldn’t all stay longer.

Bachelor Weekend
One of our best friends is getting married in July. We decided to celebrate him with our closest friends. This location fit everyone comfortably, the house is very clean and has all the bells and whistles. The best part about the property is the location. This property is one of the most beautiful places/views that I have ever seen. Truly a wonderful experience and the hosts are easy to contact. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We were in town for my son’s wedding at The Ray Vernon Estate. Wonderful space and location for family to socialize. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. House was beautiful and clean. Had everything needed to host a family dinner in a spacious kitchen! Utilized the grill and outdoor area was beautiful!
