Villa Piaggia a luxury villa in tuscany

Villa Piaggia. The first tracks of the Piaggia inhabited place date back to year 1000 A. D. At that time the complex was a cloister on the “via Francigena” – the main road from France to Rome – that still pass through the estate joining San Vivaldo to Montaione. The Tuscan villa, with its unusual long shape, is made of ancient stones and it is situated in the heart of the estate. The villa can easily accommodate up to 17 people and has every sort of comfort.


Garden and pool area
In front of the villa a big garden with a breathtaking view on the Tuscan countryside. A stone staircase with two flights leads to the swimming pool of 9×14 meters surrounded by a big grass area. Close to the pool a big loggia, the ideal place to eat outside and to relax. On the back of the loggia a bathroom and 3 large changing rooms, one with a shower.

The pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of October.

A large parking lot is available in front of the villa.


Interiors Description
Villa Piaggia has two entrances: at the groundfloor the main entrance hall leads to the sitting room and to the main halls, that are connected to the library, the billiards room and to a bedroom with private bathroom that is handicapped-equipped.

On the other side, another entrance that leads to the large dining room, the hunting hall with an huge fireplace, the fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom.

The first floor contains all of the bedrooms: seven double rooms and one single room with French bed. On the left side, one will find the master bedroom with a king size bed, a private living-room with balcony overlooking the garden and a private bathroom with shower. Next to the master bedroom, there are 2 rooms with twin beds, each with their own private bathroom with shower, then 2 double rooms with private bathroom with shower and the single room with French bed and a huge Carrara marble bathroom with shower. On the other side, a double room with a big bathroom with bathtub and another double room with a huge bathroom with shower.

From the rooms and bathrooms you can enjoy a wonderful view of the garden and the surrounding countryside.


Kitchen
On the ground floor there is a large equipped kitchen and a large dining room with fireplace.


Kitchen Equipment
All dining and cooking equipment: stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, kettle, microwave.


Linens
The linen is changed on Saturday and Wednesday. Each extra change request will be paid separately: extra sheets 5 Euros per person - extra towels 5 Euros per person - extra pool towels 5 Euros each.
