Accessible via a dirt road, the cottage sits within a secluded Koala forest with no neighbours in sight. Surrounded by nature, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors, with excellent hiking & biking tracks closeby.
The Space:
Welcome to Lakeview Cottage, a quintessential Queenslander boasting two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs, each floor equipped with its own bathroom for added convenience. Stepping inside, guests are greeted by the warmth of beautiful wood floors that flow seamlessly throughout the home. The expansive verandah with its outdoor table and BBQ area, offers the perfect setting to savour alfresco meals while soaking in the breathtaking views of the dam and the mesmerising sunrises.
Inside, the country-style kitchen upstairs provides a delightful space for cooking away from home, featuring a mini fridge and modern appliances ensuring all cooking needs are met with ease. The inviting dining room boasts tall windows framing picturesque vistas of the surrounding countryside and dam. After a day of exploration, unwind in the cosy sitting room furnished with plush sofas, an indoor fireplace and an air-conditioning unit that cools the upstairs area. This home features a main living area downstairs, equipped with a smart TV (apps only) and versatile sofas that can be easily rearranged, complemented by a convenient kitchenette boasting a full-size fridge, microwave, coffee machine, washing facilities, and a dining table for enjoyable meals.

Bedroom Two:
Furnished with a plush queen bed, this charming room includes a ceiling fan and wardrobe space.
Downstairs -
Bathroom Two:
The second bathroom features a shower, toilet, and a vanity.
Bedroom Three:
The cosy room features a comfortable king bed and wardrobe space.
Bedroom Four:
This room is ideal for the kids and is complete with two single beds and a wardrobe space.

The kitchenette downstairs features a standard fridge, sink, microwave, and small appliances, plus a front loader combination washing machine/dryer and an outdoor clothesline.
**There is a single large air-conditioning unit installed on both the ground and first floors of the home, which effectively cools down both storeys.

Guests will have access to the entire home, there is space to park up to 4 cars on the driveway, plus 2 cars in the garage and an additional 2 cars under the deck.

Having a car at your disposal is highly recommended, as there is no close by public transport, this will allow you the freedom to explore the picturesque Sunshine Coast Hinterland and beyond at your own pace.

*Pet-friendly for dogs - upon application, a $50 per pet booking fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.
*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings*
*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)
*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
