Come stay at my Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It is secluded and surrounded by trees for a truly peaceful and relaxing experience.

The cabin features two bedrooms with queen beds and one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional couch with ottoman, 42” television, DishNetwork, DVD player and WIFI. The kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, two-burner hot plate, sink, and all dishes and cooking utensils. (No oven) The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. The outside of the cabin features a large, covered deck with chairs and a patio with a smokeless fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! Go explore in the surrounding woods!

There is a lockbox with a key in it. You will receive a code for the lockbox a couple days before your stay.

Please note that the wifi is good for basic browsing and internet use but may not support streaming.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was spotless, well appointed, the bed was super comfy, and the location was convenient to everything! The firepit was fantastic, we especially loved the log splitter...it really stretched the use of our firewood and made things so efficient. The hot tub was immaculate and worked perfectly. It was a highlight for us. Amanda was an amazing host, and check-in was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I just got Home from a couple Of nights in this very cute cabin. Everything went very smoothly during our stay. Check in and out were very easy. The cabin was immaculate. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub next to the fire lit, after some hiking and kayaking. We would love to visit again.

I knew when I saw this place online it would be awesome but in person it’s even more amazing! The craftsmanship of the home is very good quality and beautiful and unique. It was comfortable, inviting, relaxing and so much fun! The kitchen has everything you need to cook and everything you need outside to make a fire and relax by the firepit. We bought the firewood bundle from Amanda but ended up buying additional firewood since we sat by the fire for hours. We were very impressed and can’t wait to go ahead and book for our next anniversary!! Amanda is a great host and very quick to respond to all questions and very helpful!

We really enjoyed staying in Amanda's Container Cabin. It was a very unique experience. The cabins have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The cabins are nicely decorated and super clean. We enjoyed how easy it was to get to the cabins and yet you felt like you were miles from anything. We have already recommended the cabins to our friends.

We wanted some place to get away from all the rush and we stumbled on this little piece of heaven!! It had everything we wanted. The shipping container is unique and decorated nicely, everything was spotless!! The hot tub was great to relax in. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn’t build a fire in the well stocked nice campfire area. We will come back!!

I booked this as a gift for my husband's birthday and he was blown away with how comfortable, quiet and secluded we felt while still having so many modern amenities at hand. It rained for a lot of our stay but we were able to still enjoy the beauty of the outdoors because of the amazing covered porch. The hot tub was great and everything was so clean and organized. Lovely time traveling with my 2 daughters. They were impressed and enjoyed themselves! Comfortable beds, excellent privacy. Clean and has everything needed. We explored Rrg and the area then came back to take breaks in the air conditioned container. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Rrg.
