Idéalement situé au centre de Mount Desert Island, Echo Pines Cottage est le point de départ idéal pour toutes vos activités de vacances. Il est à quelques minutes des pistes populaires et de l'entrée du lac Echo. Profitez d'une vue sur le lac Echo depuis les fenêtres avant!

Le chalet se trouve sur 1,5 hectares boisés, sur un chemin privé et entouré de grands pins, mais est proche de tout le plaisir de l'île.

Détendez-vous sur la pelouse avant, puis dînez autour du grand îlot de cuisine en bois ou assoyez-vous près des fenêtres en baie donnant sur le lac. Surveillez les cerfs et les oiseaux qui traversent régulièrement la propriété.

Nouveau sur le marché locatif en 2018, la maison a été rénovée et équipée pour votre confort, avec de nouveaux meubles, des matelas haut de gamme et une cuisine mise à jour. Vous allez adorer le caractère fantasque et balnéaire de l'endroit.

Il y a deux chambres à coucher, toutes deux avec des lits queen-size de première qualité, plus un canapé-lit queen-size avec un matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme dans le salon et un canapé / lit futon en taille réelle dans la salle de lecture à l'arrière. Il y a deux salles de bain complètes avec douches et baignoires, une à l'étage et une en bas.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée, prête pour les repas et réunions de famille! Vous trouverez même de nombreux produits alimentaires de base, comme le café, les condiments et les emballages de rangement, fournis pour vous.

Et préparez-vous pour ce tournoi de ping-pong familial - il y a une table au sous-sol.

Bien que cette propriété particulière soit relativement nouvelle sur le marché locatif, nous, les propriétaires, avons plusieurs années d'expérience en tant qu'hôtes. Nous possédons une autre propriété à Bar Harbor dans laquelle nous vivons maintenant! Cela signifie que nous sommes locaux et disponibles, si vous avez des problèmes ou des questions.

Cozy and clean cottage. Well maintained. Nice location in the woods on the less busy side of MDI. Located centrally to all the places you want to go. Hiking trails, Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, you name it and it's typically 15 - 20 minutes or less to get there. Supplied Welcome packet was very detailed and provided all the information you can possibly think to ask. We look forward to staying again sometime in the future.

Perfect Family Vacation
The property is very well-maintained and the owners have thought out so many details, making it very easy. The kitchen is beautiful and has a great island for family gathering. It's very dog friendly and there are easy walks around the house as well. Bedrooms are very comfortable. The host is very responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Location was great - quiet, secluded spot in the woods, but close to Acadia NP and amazing restaurants in Southwest Harbor - less than five miles away. Kitchen is well stocked - one the best we've had during our many trips, beds are quite comfortable and there is lots of space to relax indoors or outside. Highly recommend the cabin for your Acadia vacation.

We loved the house. It was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. My only wish is that it could have been longer! When we were delayed in arriving due to a flat tire, the hosts went to the property and turned on the lights for us so we wouldn’t have trouble getting in when it was dark. I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Stay at 12 Echo Pines
The house was wonderful! Everything was clean and tidy, with all the amenities needed for our stay. Lots of space and convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, and a ping pong table. Big kitchen, with spices and enough dishes, utensils, and supplies to make anything. We even grilled steaks one night! You can't go wrong with staying here!

We stayed Here for two weeks with two kids and a dog the house was fully stocked and neat when we arrived. Great Vacation Home & Hosts
We had the most wonderful time at Echo Pines Cottage. The house was an absolute dream- wonderful sleeping arrangements for the whole family, a gorgeous kitchen and outdoor grill for our meals, and a lovely back deck for watching wildlife. The kitchen was well-stocked with whatever you could need and the hosts included really comfortable linens and towels. Truly anything you can think of needing for a holiday, the hosts made sure you had stocked in the house. We felt very taken care of and greatly appreciated the hosts’ suggestions for local activities. It was a beautiful home and we all loved our stay very much!

Great Place to Stay on MDI!
We were looking for a place that was a little more quiet and peaceful, and this cottage was perfect! It was very clean and spacious and worked great for our family of four. We spent our days exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (about 15 minutes away). After a busy day we enjoyed being back at the cottage on the quieter side of the island. Perfect rental on MDI
We had a great stay at this cottage. It was a perfect spot on the quieter side of the island, which we wanted. Still a very easy drive into Bar Harbor. The house was fully stocked and clean. The owners left great notes and tips for enjoying the area. We have been coming up to Bar Harbor for the last 13 years and this was our favorite rental. We will definitely book it again

We shared Echo Pines Cottage the second week of October with our daughter. When we got to the house late at night, the power was out due to a storm that had gone through that evening. Fortunately, there were several conspicuous flashlights inside the front door and power was restored early the next morning. It was clean and well supplied with kitchen utensils and appliances, bedding, bathroom supplies, and several games. The two main bedrooms on the upper floor were above average in size with comfortable beds and large closets. The owners supplied detailed directions for getting in the house and leaving, as well as information about things visitors might need such as groceries stores, places to eat, park maps and suggestions of things to see/do. We all had a great visit to Acadia N. P. and the Cottage was the perfect base location to do our exploring.

COULDN’T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER!
Echo Pines was perfect! There’s no hesitation in giving Ellen and Kurt 5 stars across the board. Communication was quick and helpful from possible govt shutdown, to a long list of favorite restaurants and activities. Echo Pines was the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. It was equipped with anything you might have needed. While we didn’t cook at the house anything you might have needed was there, very well stocked! Nice washer and dryer, plenty of linens/towels, cozy quilts for cool nights, comfy beds, … the list goes on. The house was tucked away in the woods, making for a quiet, peaceful stay. Location was perfect and away from busy Bar Harbor. We were up and out early each day and made it to all major trail heads within 15-20 min. Some of the best restaurants we ate at were on this side of the island as well. Pleased with our choice to stay at Echo Pines is an understatement. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance to visit MDI and Acadia again!

Great location to explore Mt. Desert Island and Acadia
We had another great stay at this property. The place is clean, well-maintained, and well-furnished for a vacation week at the park. The central location is ideal, providing easy access to Bar Harbor and the park, and also to great hiking and fresh-water swimming, and Southwest Harbor and Bass Harbor on the west side of the island. This is a perfect home-base for enjoying and exploring Acadia.

Perfect Location
The cottage is located about as close to the center of MDI as you can get, right on the edge of the park with easy access to everything on "The Quietside" of the island, including plenty of trails, Echo Lake, Long Pond, Southwest Harbor and Somesville and the Sound--all less than 10 minutes away. And the bigger/busier attractions are about 15-30 minutes out: carriage roads, Bar Harbor, Park Loop Road, Ellsworth. The house itself is great. the location is very private, on a nice wooded parcel. We enjoyed lounging on the back deck and morning coffee in the enclosed porch. The kitchen is well-appointed and made for people who love to cook. The only disappointment was that we were there too early for the blueberries in the yard to be ripe. I didn't have much interaction with Ellen, just a text to let her know of our arrival and departure, but she responded quickly both times. I would definitely rent this property again.

We loved our private space so close to Acadia. The home is well appointed with everything you need, the games and puzzles were such a nice touch and a great way to relax after hiking.
