OK for the beach/view, but won't be back for the unit.
We are grandparents, with 17 and 12-year male grandsons. Beach was fine and view was good. However, the unit is definitely not for the faint of heart or parents with younger children. As to Cleanliness: Poor. We left it cleaner than we found it (prior tenants left chex mix scattered around the room.) Also, it smelled musty. We found out why. On day 2 of 2-night stay, we found wet carpet along nightstand/electric outlet next to bed. It was against the outside wall to balcony. We determined the A/C was dripping onto balcony floor and seeping into room under the wall. Since we were leaving the next am, we didn't contact mngmt to fix, but left both VM and text as part of the checkout process, notifying them of the potential health hazard for mold/asthma issues. However, no one has contacted us back to acknowledge the problem or the solution.. Check-in: Not smooth. We arrived on Wednesday, at 3:55 p.m. for 4 p.m. checkin as directed in email. One had to stay with car until you get into room/with suitcases since no one is in the bldg to give you a parking decal as noted in the instructions. It was workable since we had 2 strapping grandsons to assist with luggage. Finally, we asked the chair-renter guy, stationed outside the lobby, where was the front desk person for the bldg. He directed us to the management office 2 blocks away to get parking decal. (For the weekend, someone posted a sign directing persons to get parking pass at the mngmt office.) Weekend parking is limited in the parking garage onsite, so you ,may need to park at the other lot (again, 2 blocks away.) BTW---When you book, you get an email that you will receive check in information 5 days prior to your check in date. Didn't happen. Two days before, I called the management company. The young lady said they were in process and I'd get my email the day before we were to check in. I had to ask her to expedite my instructions, since I would be in travel status and not able to access email. She obliged, but it is unfortunate that the management company is not as speedy about customer service as they are about processing payments.
