This stunning home features 4 suites including an enormous master king suite with soaking tub, separate shower, private living area, & private terrace with expansive ocean views. There is a similarly sized Jr. king suite, while the 3rd king suite has garden views. The bunk room is the ideal kid hangout with 2 full over queen bunk beds plus a full over full bunk! What an amazing suite that gives the kids a central location to hang out and sleep. There is also a king casita for extra privacy.
Once the home is booked, we will connect you with our amazing concierge to plan the details of your stay. Our concierge will meet you in person at your arrival for check in and check out.
The home is within the resort gates of Peninsula Papagayo in Guanacaste, which is also home to the Four Seasons, Andaz, and the Ritz Carlton Reserve (opening 2024). It is approx. 30 minutes from the LIR (Guanacaste) airport.
As the homeowner's guest, you have access to the resort. You also have access to the private Prieta Beach Club (guests responsible for access fee when they go), and to the Arnold Palmer Ocean course, and tennis and pickleball courts near the pro shop.
Arcos del Mar is a unique, spacious, villa set at a culdesac on an expansive lot set with gardens . The home is hacienda style with a courtyard and fountain at its core, with viewing platforms edging the hill with views out over the beach and Pacific ocean. This home offers maximum privacy.
There may be works in the gardens Nov and Dec 2024 (such as placing new sod in muddy areas or other areas that have been impacted by the rains). We will try to get any garden works done prior to arrival and when you are out on an adventure. NOTE: the 3 lounging platforms and furnitureat the front of the estate have been removed and will be replaced with sod and/or stones and lounge chairs. Photos will be updated once completed.

The beach is down below the house and you can get there by a staircase that leads you down. Or you can drive to the beach... The view from the house's sun decks is stunning. Looking right over Playa [Prieta] and out to a crazy amazing landscape. We spent morning coffee, afternoon happy hour and plenty of late nights on the sun decks looking over the epic view... It was a truly luxurious experience...This house was special and we will never forget it. We relaxed and enjoyed the incredible country in comfort. I highly recommend [Arcos Del Mar]. The [concierge] arranged a chef service for our breakfast every morning, the food was amazing and the staff they sent was talented and very friendly! One of the perks about this home, we could take a path and some steps to the beach below and walk to the Prieta Beach Club. It is an incredible club, the pools, gym, restaurants, and staff were so great! We also went to the Four Seasons by golf cart for dinner several times, wonderful property and restaurants. I can't say enough good things about our vacation, except that we will be back!"
Our concierge can arrange transportation from the airport to your home, as well as coordinate a rental golf cart or rental car for your use during your stay (paid separately).
Note: Guests have access to the amazing and private Prieta Beach Club, and Guests are responsible for paying the access fee on days that you go to the Prieta Beach Club. This is payable directly to the Prieta Beach Club. Fee is subject to change at the discretion of the Club. Current fee schedule from the Club is a cost per person +VAT, per day that they go to the club: Jan -Dec 17, 2024, is $75 +VAT, Festive 2024-2025 (Dec 17, 2024-Jan 3, 2025) is $200 +VAT. We do not yet have 2025 rates from the Club.
