Our Pomelo Bay beach front property sets the scene for an amazing vacation on the island of Nassau, Bahamas. Experience breath-taking sunrise and sunsets each day, and feel the white sands under your toes as you walk out to the beach and enjoy paradise untouched, and swim to your heart’s delight.
Our private Pomelo Bay property, located on the south-western part of Nassau is only 20 minutes from the International Airport, in Adelaide Village, known as the last true “old town” where you can experience life on the island in it’s most authentic fashion; safe, quiet, away-from-it-all, island feel. Friendly neighbors, modern and old homes mixed together in a community like no other on New Providence, close to the beach, lakes and nature, and far away from everything else!
Our property boasts 3 modern condo homes overlooking the coral harbour beach and harbour. While looking at the waterfront, our town sits between the famous Royal Bahamas Defence Force base to the left, and the multimillion dollar Albany Resort, with homes of rich and famous to the right.
Our Pomelo Bay North and South condos are brand new, and include modern furniture and appliances, air conditioned and amenities like TV,Internet, washer & dryer, and private parking in a gated property. We also have a wonderful private property just on the other side of the street which sits on a surreal lake front, and is protected by UNESCO. It has a cabana and dock, perfect for relaxing afternoons and great fishing.
You will need a car or taxi service while staying with us as we are far away from public transport and access to the closest stores, restaurants and the rest of the island is at least 15 minutes away by car. It’s one of the things that makes us such a great vacation spot for those that want to truly get-away from it all, no mega resorts, no shopping malls, no noisy cars and trucks passing by every few minutes, just, clean, quiet, island life on the beach.
The neighborhood is great for walking. The birdwatching and fishing on the lakefront at the other side of our property is astounding. And walking along the neighborhood to check out other beaches, the old houses, little community stores, churches and parks will give you an instant connection to life in The Bahamas before all the modern hotels and resorts.
Access to the rest of the island starts with a 20 minute ride to the shopping centers, restaurants, bars, banks and world famous Cable Beach district with all of its tourist attractions so you get the best of both worlds.
You will absolutely enjoy your time with us.
The smart thermostat is an energy saver for the air conditioner which helps us to keep the cost of rental affordable by assisting with regulating inefficient use of the air conditioner. It is located in the master bedroom on the side of the night stand. And also in the living room on the side table below the air conditioner.

- We love feedback. Let us know how we can make your stay better.

- Check-In time (after 3:30 pm) and Checkout time (by 10 am) are firm. Our cleaning agent will arrive promptly at 10am to prepare for our next guest.

- Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted in any of our units.

- Only registered guests are allowed to visit or use property facilities.

- NO SMOKING inside the unit - Heavy fines for evidence of smoking.

- No pets allowed.

- Park only in your designated spot. You can find details in the Welcome Guide.

- Quiet time after 10 pm - Please be considerate of our neighbors and minimize loud noises.

- Help us conserve energy and turn off ACs and lights when leaving for extended periods.

Great quiet place to stay
Tangerine Sunsets is a perfect vacation rental for someone looking for a quiet and peaceful environment. It’s about 20-30 minutes away from town or shopping centers (cruise ship ports), so it’s out of the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The place is spacious, kitchen is spacious with a few cooking utensils, washer and dryer worked great, showers are a bit small but functional. The best part is the “private” beach and seating area in the back of the house. We were out there every day, and could even see sea turtles come up for a breath every once in a while. Overall this was a great stay and I would recommend it again!

Ocean steps away, not a lot of people around
I loved it. If you need to be in a touristy area, this is not your place. I sat on the patio and read under the Bohemian sun in peace and quiet. It was awesome. Upon arrival, my wife and i went the the private beach out the back gate and saw nobody as far as the eye can see. Water only to knees or ankles at low tide. Better for swimming at high tide. House spacious, perfect for family of four, but more are possible. Grocery store 10 mins away. Averys very good local restaurant. Showers are small. AC is great. Small TV. Loose tile in kitchen floor. Plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils and bath towels. Some snorkeling equipment in closet. Master uses hall barh. Kids room has its own bath. Semi private balcony, fairly big wall separating it with other side; but there is a small walk through. I think the other side is used by permanent party that we never saw. Downstairs small unit will have guests, We did have to share 200 yards of beach with a family if three. :) ill be back!

Secluded Stay
Staying in the duplex house on the south side of Nassau was initially a bit unsettling due to the village's remote location, with few tourists and no nearby stores. I even considered rebooking a few days in. However, by the end of the week, I was thrilled with the peaceful, secluded setting and the immaculate, comfortable house with a private beach. Though the beach shrinks during high tide, it’s perfect for a relaxing walk and setting up beach chairs during low tide. While the water on this side isn’t as clear and tends to be a bit rougher compared to the north, splitting our time between this beach in the mornings and exploring other beaches around the island made for a well-rounded and enjoyable stay.

Great location and atmosphere! Only one thing showers need to be modified to a title stand up shower in both bathrooms. Everything was clean and easy access. Host stayed in contact with me. Great place for Family to stay near beachfront.

Beautiful location with privacy
This was our first visit to the Bahamas and being that we don’t like crowds and the resort scene all that much, we took a chance and booked Tangerine Sunsets. The property is on the south side of the island so away from all the major resorts lining the north beaches. We cooked a few meals from the house but for eating out or getting to any of the north beaches, expect a ~20-25 min drive. We knew what we were getting with selecting the location so it was fine. The view from the balcony I couldn’t get enough of. We could see sea turtles off the short and sting rays just sitting there and looking out. It is literally steps from the ocean so you can hear the waves all day. I think a VRBO photo during the day where you can see the beautiful shades of blue would definitely sell some more people on this more remote location. The beach was mostly empty the entire time we were there so definitely checked the private beach box. There is also decent snorkeling just off the beach if you swim out past the sea grass area. The house worked fine for our family of 5. The only negative is I was expecting a sofa bed for the 5th bed but my son wound up sleeping on the couch. He’s 9 so not a big deal but I don’t think a larger person would have been ok with that arrangement even though the description says it sleeps 5. The pros totally outweighed the cons. We were so happy to not have to drive to other beaches with the luxury of having one right out the back door. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect private getaway
The description could use an update, but really it undersells the property. This place is isolated, and right on the beach. The views are spectacular. On a calm day the snorkeling right out the door is superb. There is a TV, but no "cable" service. We didn't care - we didn't come to watch TV.
