Enjoy fun days playing at the beach and in the waves of the Gulf at this seventh-floor condo at The Inn at Summerwind. When you're not spending time on the miles of beaches head inside to cool off and relax in the living room. With a full kitchen cooking up any meal is a breeze. The Inn at Summerwind is one of three buildings in the Summerwind Resorts complex, located directly on the stunning beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, and conveniently located in close proximity to the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.

On-site, enjoy the multiple community pools (one heated seasonally) and hot tub along with a sun deck and outdoor showers. There is also a gulf-front fitness center. The Inn at Summerwind is located directly on the beach, just a short stroll down the boardwalk to the most sought-after white sand and gorgeous waters of Northwest Florida.

Would have been great if......
When we arrived, there were numerous signs stating that we would be towed if we didn't have a parking pass displayed on our dash. Luckily, we stumbled on the lobby which was one floor up from the parking lot, and they said it would probably be in our unit. And it was. Upon getting settled after a 7 hour drive, we discovered that we had no internet on our phones and notepad. None of the listed IDs and Passwords worked. We called Vacasa, but the text reply didn't come until the next day....when at last, the issue was fixed. The owner didn't trust us enough to enjoy the 2 recliners, because they weren't plugged in. The TV was a confusion of 2 remotes and no instructions. We ending up with a very loud voice that announced every command we input on the remote and no way to remove it. All we wanted was a very quiet, peaceful few days on the beach, which we did enjoy, until it was time to check out. Not only did the owner instruct us to dispose of the trash and start the dishwasher, but we were required to strip all 3 beds even if we did not use them, and start a load of towels in the washer. Y'know, if I wanted to do housework, I would have stayed at home. I mean, what is the cleaning fee for anyway? I did half of it for you. It seems like every time I book a Vrbo, or Vacasa, or other commercial vacation home, they tack on one more cleaning duty that I have to do. I'm sorry but, it was a very nice condo, with a lovely view, but not much of a stress-free get-away.

Perfect location
Our family of four (including two older teens) stayed in this condo comfortably. Bring a bag of ice because the fridge ice maker doesn’t work. There are several ice trays to make ice after checking in tho. Local Vacasa staff were pleasant. Perfect location on the beach near the pier with beautiful views of the water from the balcony. Walking distance to local restaurants and activities including water sports and sea turtle conservatory. Would definitely stay again!!

Lovely Weekend Getaway
The property is immaculate. Our condo was spacious and perfect for 2 adults, 2 teens and 2 tweens. The locations is spectacular. There was security on site and checked the mandatory wrist bands- which I loved. The included 2 beach chairs and umbrella service was a mega bonus. The king size bed was, hands down, THE MOST comfortable bed we've ever slept in away from home. Highly recommend this property, this particular condo and VACASA. I liked that we could text vacasa with any questions regarding our trip.

A great stay!
The view! The view is fantastic! The condo was clean, the mattress in the bedroom was comfortable (we didn't use the bunk beds) and we had all the cook ware we needed. The photos on the listing aren't quite accurate. The sofa, decor, bathroom sinks and shower head have been updated and are very nice. The beach access was easy and private. There were supposed to be 6 armbands allowing us access to the property but when we checked in there was only 1. This was rectified very easily and quickly by contacting vacasa. We had a lovely stay and can't wait to come back!

Loved the place! Had a great time. Check in and check out process was super easy. Security was constantly rounding and checking for bracelets. The only two things that would be a “con” are the ice machine was broken and the balcony door was extremely hard to open and close!

Soft white sand between my toes!
Our 3night stay at Summerwind was very enjoyable! Our condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us because we parked in the parking lot and didn’t have to get back in the car until we left. We had a perfect view of the beach and fishing pier. The complex has beach services which puts chairs and umbrellas on the beach that can be reserved. The beach is clean and the white sand is perfect. Who doesn’t love the feel of soft sand between your toes?! If you are a big shell collector this beach is not for you. Shells are limited. If you are not a beach lover you can enjoy a very nice outdoor pool and sauna. I highly recommend Summerwind for your next beach vacation!

Great vacation!
Property was great! Clean. Our place had every thing we needed. Great location! It was nice two beaches chairs plus one umbrella was included. The only issue we had was trying to get ahold of someone at night when our fire alarm would not stop going off. The person we talked to said someone would call the next day and no one did.

Navarre beach bargain rental
Beautiful location. However, furnishings are old, dated, and need replacement. Vanity in front bathroom is falling apart. Paint peeling off and side curling up. Chips out of paint on dining furniture and counter stools. Dishwasher did not work the entire stay. Light fixture over the dining table is old and dated. The dining table and counter stools are patio furniture moved indoors. Bedside lamp was broken and had to be repaired. Bedroom furniture was obviously cheap and had broken drawer left side of the dresser. The couch is old and tired looking, needs replaced. Could not recommend this unit to anyone. I believe we got what we paid for, sort of…We were looking for a close location to our new house in Gulf Breeze and we love Navarre Beach.

Dirty and DW didn't work
Location is great and we love Navarre however we had issues with this property: 1) the dishwasher didn't work since day 1. We called and were told maintenance would come but never did even after me following up. Not fun to hand wash dishes with a family of 5 for a week. 2) Dirty bed sheets. They were washed but had stained on them. Looked like blood but who knows... I took pictures but not sure if I can upload them to the review. Also very dirty behind the pullout couch. 3) Moldy shower curtain, Pretty disgusting. Also took pictures of that. Such poor management (or cheap owners) since you can buy a new one at Walmart for $9 and avoid bad reviews... 4) Only one elevator out of 2 working. Not a big deal until the only functioning elevator free fell for 3 floors with people in it. I was a witness and with a group of guests pressed the emergency button on the elevator to call authorities. I was at ground level waiting for the elevator and heard the screeching noise of the emergency brakes. The folks that came out were pretty freaked out!!! We love Navarre, had a great time and will be back, definitely not in this condo or building. Alex

Perfect for weekend trip
Great location. Had issue with the door lock keypad but the local office was able to help me over the phone. Condo is perfect location to restaurants, the beach, and pier. Dryer got really hot and ran a long time. Everything else worked great no issues.

Room and location were great! Room has been nicely updated in comparison to some of the older reviews. The problems we ran into were booking through vacasa. We didn’t get into our room until about 6:00 after arriving at 4:00 because of the lack of adequate help to get us into our room. We were given a false code and we’re told that they couldn’t exactly locate which building we were in, as if they didn’t actually rent it out. Horrible service and will not book with them again.
