A great spot for a fall weekend fishing trip. Easy access to tie up your boat and get in and out of the lake quick and easy.

This delightful cozy 2 bedroom house rests at the back of a cove on Badin Lake. Enjoy 8 miles of beautiful Badin Lake that connects to the Uwharrie National Forest. Conveniently located an hour from Charlotte and Greensboro. A great spot to get away from it all or enjoy some of the best fishing in North Carolina. Tie your boat on the dock and adventure awaits!

The House

This is a simple two bedroom house. If you are expecting a 5-star resort, this more than likely is not the place for you. We have all needed for a relaxation getaway: make a fire in front with a good book or jump in and enjoy great swimming or fishing right off the dock. The sunsets and views from outside are second to none.

We work tirelessly to make this the most comfortable place possible. Know there may occasionally be a critter or bug that infiltrates the spot, but we do our best to keep that few and far between.

Enjoy the peace and serenity of life on the lake while here. Nature abounds with ducks, heron, and cormorants being frequent visitors to the cove. Fisherman can enjoy easy access from the boat put-in to tie up to the dock. Easily hop on your boat at any time to experience some of the best fishing NC has to offer.

Guests will receive a code for the door prior to arrival. Note the door at the front of the house can be a bit tricky at times; lift up on the door to ensure the padlock will insert.

Perfect Little Getaway
Staying at this Badin Lake Property was just what my husband and I was looking for to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday! The boat dock was perfect for lounging and view was serene! The house was accommodating to what we needed and the house host was attentive to our needs! We would definitely stay here again!

Nice cottage with lakefront view. Not the Ritz but an excellent place for a getaway. King size bed is very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Nice boat dock.

Kyla was an amazing host! Very quick to respond to questions or needs. Home is perfectly located on the lot with plenty of shade. The cove is the friendliest we have ever experienced! We had an absolute blast! Boating on the lake or hanging out by the dock all day. Pack your bags and book soon!!!! A place like this will fill up fast!!! Thank you Kyla!!!!!

The house was fine and access to the lake easy. My only negative comment relates to weather. Days were in the 90’s during our stay. There is a wall ac unit in the living/ kitchen area. No vents in either bedroom. So common area was quite cool. We used the provided fans but the cords were not long enough to reach the living area and blow cooked air into the bedrooms I would stay there again but not in hot weather.

Nice location. Nice neighbors. The bedrooms are hot and the living room cold because of the a/c system but mostly it was not clean. We swept and wiped down the floor and it was very dirty unfortunately. Don’t need ur to be glamorous but definitely needs to be clean.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, perfect size with and amazing sunset view! Fire pit sitting area was perfect! We were able to dock our pontoon and quiet cove. Kyla was very easy and great to talk with. Will be booking again!
