Maison de plage exécutive Saltwater Melody

Bienvenue à Saltwater Melody Executive Beach House. La plus récente maison de plage exécutive de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard est située au cœur de l'île à New London. Nous sommes situés à quelques minutes de la magnifique Cavendish et de tout ce que l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard a à offrir; plages spectaculaires, golf de classe mondiale, gastronomie et aventure culinaire, musique live, attractions familiales, sentiers, sports nautiques et toutes choses Anne.

La construction de cette maison de plage exécutive a été achevée au printemps 2017. La maison de deux étages de 1 900 pieds carrés offre une vue panoramique sur l'eau et un hébergement spacieux pour votre escapade. Presque toutes les pièces de la maison ont une vue exceptionnelle sur la baie. La maison de plage est située sur un terrain d'un acre avec des arbres matures et une pelouse magnifiquement paysagée. La zone extérieure du foyer, avec des sièges spacieux, est l'endroit idéal pour être pendant les soirées d'été. La maison de plage dispose d'une véranda enveloppante entièrement équipée avec un barbecue Weber, une table de patio et de nombreuses chaises pour se détendre et profiter de la vue. Le pont à l'étage, hors de la chambre principale, est l'endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et profiter du spectaculaire coucher de soleil de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard sur l'eau ou se lever tôt le matin pour voir les bateaux de pêche au loin.

Cette toute nouvelle maison dispose d'une cuisine gastronomique à aire ouverte, qui donne sur l'eau depuis le salon et la salle à manger. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour un dîner complet, un clambake ou un barbecue. C'est parfait pour se divertir! De superbes planchers de bois franc sont posés dans toute la maison et il y a un foyer au gaz pour ces soirées agréables.

Saltwater Melody dispose de trois chambres et peut accueillir sept personnes. L'impressionnante chambre principale comprend un lit king-size, deux grands placards, une salle de bains privative, un coin salon privé avec cheminée et un balcon privé avec une vue exceptionnelle. La deuxième chambre a deux lits jumeaux et un grand placard. La troisième chambre a un lit queen (possibilité de faire un roi) avec un grand placard. Chaque chambre offre une vue fantastique sur l'eau.

Cette maison conçue avec goût dispose de trois salles de bains. La salle de bains privative dispose d'une grande baignoire profonde et d'une douche carrelée et la salle de bains principale dispose d'une douche à l'italienne personnalisée. Il y a aussi une salle d'eau et une buanderie séparée avec une laveuse et une sécheuse en bas. Lavez le sable et le sel dans la douche extérieure personnalisée après un après-midi sur la plage.

Les eaux tranquilles autour de la maison sont fréquentées par des bateaux à moteur de plaisance, des bateaux de pêche, des canoës et des kayaks. Il y a un bail d'huîtres devant notre propriété, donc si vous voyez nos sympathiques pêcheurs, saluez-les et vous pourrez peut-être acheter des huîtres fraîches du bateau! Dirigez-vous vers la plage pour construire un château de sable, profitez d'une promenade en soirée pendant que le soleil se couche, faites un feu de joie ou détendez-vous. Nous avons une plage côtière en face de la propriété où vous pouvez marcher assez loin et voir nos falaises de grès rouge, nos coquillages et de nombreux oiseaux lorsque la marée est basse. À marée basse, vous pouvez également creuser des palourdes pour un clambake PEI. Passez du temps sur la plage à chercher des coquillages, du verre de mer et des roches uniques ou tout simplement vous perdre dans cet endroit serein. Beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire ici!

En attendant votre arrivée, vous recevrez un panier-cadeau de bienvenue de friandises de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Nous fournissons un pass plage pour les 3 plages du parc national qui sont toutes très proches. Saltwater Melody Beach House offre une expérience de restauration exceptionnelle avec des équipements pour assurer le confort et l'intimité des couples, des escapades de golf, des familles, des réunions et des petits groupes. Immaculate Open Concept
Great wrap around porch and gleaming floors. Ample towels and comfortable beds. I know it said ocean views though I thought from the pictures it was closer and more walkable. Don’t be discouraged though. The potato producers nearby was fun to watch and having the washer/dryer was a wonderful help. No soap pods or softener. Gorgeous beach across the bay with a lighthouse called New London. Deep beach. The best part of the rental was the owner Jen. It was raining cats and dogs when we left our other rental and she graciously let us arrive four hours early.

Amazing family vacation
Our family was blown away by the beauty, peace and tranquility of this home and location. The cleanliness of the home and welcome gifts instantly made us feel at home. Our children, ages 4 and 6, loved the large yard where they could freely play and explore and watching for bald eagles, osprey, and great blue herons. We were able to go explore the area with most of our destinations within a 15 minute drive (beaches, the national park for hiking and to ride our bicycles, many Anne of Green Gables/Lucy Maud Montgomery sites, Shining Waters family park, etc). We also spent a day driving to Charlottetown (approx 40 min drive) and walked through Victoria Park which has a beautiful boardwalk and a great playground and splash pad at one end. Even while doing many things during our week, we still found it to be very relaxing and all wanted to stay longer. Jenn was a wonderful host, was quick to respond, incredibly kind and generous, and provided great recommendations. Thank you, Jenn! We cannot wait to come back!

First trip to PEI
This was our first trip to PEI and Jenn’s house was the perfect home base for my family of four and in-laws. The house was on the most peaceful spot right by the water. It was stocked with everything we needed and was the perfect size for the 6 of us. It was a great central location to take day trips as well. And we highly recommend attending one of the nightly ceilidh’s down the street. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect PEI Beach House Getaway
We highly recommend this scenic cottage by the bay! It's a beautiful place and well-stocked with amenities. The host, Jenn, has done a fantastic job of setting it all up, which you get a sense of as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted with a generous welcome package of gifts. The place is extremely clean and stocked with supplies. We encountered one house maintenance issue during our stay but the host was quick to resolve it and smooth the whole thing over very professionally and thoughtfully. The view and grounds are expansive and beautiful, and we especially liked that there were beach towels and chairs to use for our many coastal outings during our week-long stay, as well as a firepit we could use to roast marshmallows in the evening. Location is perfect to explore PEI and the Parks Canada pass is another generous treat by Jenn for beach days and trail walks. Altogether we had a wonderful time and would definitely come again.

Lovely Family Vacation

Idyllic vacation
The house was just as it appeared in the photos. It was very comfortable. When it wasn’t hot having the windows open provided a fabulous breeze. Jenn arranged for a portacrib and high chair for us. And when she wasn’t sure about the crib she got us a back up! That was so nice. Jenn was very easily reached and responded quickly to queries. This is just the sort of place you can book confidently. We had a lovely time!

First time for our family in PEI was made very special by Jennifer our host and the Saltwater Melody property. A short drive from the beaches at Cavendish and Thunder Cove, to oysters from Malpeque and the unbelievably good lobster rolls, boat rides from North Rustico. The "guest book" chronicles the good times had by all guests to the house. 5 stars! Would return in an instant!

Our New Happy Place
There isn't much to say that hasn't already been praised about Saltwater Melody. The house is the perfect idea of a vacation home. And maybe its that Jen distracts you upon arrival with delicious goodies from PEI but there really isn't thing bad to say about the property. Our family had never been to PEI and this is really going to be hard to top. We didn't get to enjoy as much of the outside of the house because there was rain a couple of our days but there was plenty of room to spread out but still be around family. The location was perfect for day-trips to Charlottetown. Cavendish was very close by and had plenty of shops and places to eat. We really hated to leave this little piece of heaven! Thanks for letting it be ours if only for a few days.

Saltwater Haven
Jenn was an amazing hostess. Our stay at Saltwater Melody was a wonderfully relaxing retreat away from home. The location was central to all of our Anne of Green Gables itinerary, so each day we would go explore, and come home in the evenings to relax on the amazing front porch. The location is down a red dirt road, with beautiful wildflower fields and views of the water. Jenn had legos, boardgames, Anne of green gables books, yard Ames, a fire pit, really anything you could possibly want. We would return in a heartbeat!

Home Away From Home
The Melody Beach House was the ideal landing spot for our stay on the island. When we arrived, Jen, kindly had offerings of welcome gifts - soap, cookies and beverages. So unexpected, and yet, so thoughtful. The house is close proximity to several attractions on the island - Thunder Cove and Cavendish Beach, Burlington Go-Karts, Sand Spit, Shining Waters, Island Hill Farms and it’s a short drive to Charlottetown (approx. 40 mins). It is also close to great eats and treats. If you’re a foodie, you must try the Slaymaker and Blue Mussel Cafe. They are a “you must eat here” 👌. In those quiet not so touristy days we combed the beach, sat by the fire , played board games and enjoyed our morning coffee on the veranda watching the sunrise over the ocean while reading a book. It’s like home away from home. The Melody house does NOT disappoint. My only disappointment is that we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for opening up your home, Jen. We look forward to a return visit next summer. Coincidentally, another Melody 😉

Another perfect stay in paradise!
This was our 4th stay on PEI and at Saltwater Melody and it was as magical as always. The house is so pristine and so comfortable. Jennifer is the most amazing host and thinks of every detail, down to making sure there was a delicious raspberry cordial and cinnamon bun for each of our kids. The worst part of the stay is having to leave and we’re already counting down the days till next summer!

The house was wonderfully appointed and furnished. We had everything we needed. A very peaceful property on a quiet road with a lovely view. The beds were so very comfortable and the breeze on the covered porch was just perfect for sitting out with a book. A short drive away from anything you could need or want to discover, the location was ideal. The owner was fantastic and very communicative. We were greeted with delightful local treats and felt right at home. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful location, great adventures.
We chose to visit PEI to visit its beautiful coastline and bicycle it's trails. Jenn was a great host who provided us with info about places to go and restaurants to visit. Every day we explored a different area and enjoyed the beauty that surrounded us. Added bonuses were the lupines that were in bloom right on the property, sunrises, and sunsets. This was a great central location that I highly recommend.

Dream Vacation
From the moment we found Saltwater Melody Jenn was an amazing host! The location is perfect for spending time on the island. Jenn has thought of everything to make this a home away from home - well stocked kitchen, boardgames, and even lego and colouring books. You will not be disappointed choosing this house for a getaway. It was the perfect place to stay for the last few nights of our Maritime adventure trip. The house is prefectly situated on a beautiful property that feels a million miles from the stresses on the world while being close to everything you need. When can we return?
Saltwater Melody instantly felt like home for us. The kitchen has everything needed for dining in. The beds are comfortable. Each room is beautifully decorated. The view of the bay is serene. The location is ideal for all of those day trips. And there were so many extras, the yummy scones upon arrival, games to play on those wet, windy days, books to read by the fireplaces, and our sons were thrilled to find legos! I want to return again and again. Great communication and warm hospitality. All the stars!
