Summary:
This historic 19th-century condo blends authentic New Orleans styles with modern comforts. Enjoy 14-foot ceilings, restored wood flooring and exposed brick walls throughout along with Victorian vintage decor and a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking Magazine Street. This 2br/1ba comfortably sleeps 4 guests.

This beautiful home is perfect for families, friends and business travelers who seek an upscale experience with NOLA personality in a great location.

The apartment features

-Each of the two bedrooms feature a casper memory foam mattress, plush down comforters and four down pillows sure to allow for a good night’s sleep
-Open living and dining area with a 60” smart LED television providing access to your subscriptions
-Large outdoor private patio with lounge table and chairs
-Quality bluetooth speaker, high speed internet, and central air conditioning/heat
-Each bedroom features a smart TV and built in closet
-Bathroom equipped with soft touch towels, hairdryer and essential toiletries
-One off street shared parking spot situated at the entrance of the apartment - shared with other rental in the building - first come first served space
-Chef's kitchen complete with high quality pots, pans & knives, Vitamix blender, eclectic cookbooks and both drip coffee and espresso machines
-In unit, washer and dryer as well as iron, ironing board and steamer

Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the apartment during your stay. The main building entrance is on the back side of the building. Take one flight of stairs up before entering the 2nd floor apartment.

The Neighborhood:
Safely and conveniently located in the heart of trendy Lower Garden District you can enjoy the lively taverns, restaurants and quirky boutiques without traveling far. Exit the apartment, turn the corner and you are enjoying the stately mansions that line the neighborhood’s leafy streets, or head for a picnic at Coliseum Square Park. Steps away is the historic St. Charles Ave, where you can hop on the streetcar to take you to the French Quarter, Warehouse District, or Audubon Park & Zoo. My favorite Mexican restaurant, La Carreta, is right downstairs and my favorite local coffee shop Mojo is a quick 4-minute walk away!

Getting Around:
The area is safe to walk around and has many bustling restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops walking distance. For further adventures, there are transportation options. There are bicycle rentals a few blocks away. Take a stroll to St. Charles Ave. and you will find the historic streetcar that can take you from the French Quarter to Audubon Park. Taxis and ride shares, such as Uber and Lyft are also a great way to get around with low wait times. There is one parking spot that is shared with the other apartment along with free street parking.

-French Quarter: 14 minutes by car or 25 minutes by streetcar
-Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport: 20 minutes by car
-Convention Center: 6 minutes by car
-Tulane University: 14 minutes by car
-Streetcar Access: 9-minute walk to Stop #267 at Felicity St and St. Charles Ave.

Other Things to Note:
Perfectly located for visiting New Orleans during events like Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest or for a more relaxing escape! I have additional spaces if needed, please feel free to message me with any requests.

Nice location
Nice units. Good location. Very clean and comfortable bedding. Excellent kitchen area. Living area furniture very uncomfortable as furniture was in that period. Area rugs were a little slippery. Would stay there again.

Cute condo in a great location
My family of 3 enjoyed our stay. The condo is cute, clean, peaceful and comfy. Bed was comfy. I thought not putting the thermostat below 70 might be an issue, but I was quite comfortable. The location is great with many restaurants and coffee shops and misc shopping to walk to. Gris Gris restaurant is steps away from the condo and is fantastic! Short walk to the street car line that can take you downtown or uptown with lots to see and do.

Good location, watch out for roaches
Upon arrival, first impression was that the place was nicely decorated and appeared to be well taken care of. However, over the course of two days we found multiple cockroaches in both the kitchen and bathroom and MANY in the stairwell outside the unit. I understand roaches are common in New Orleans but this is disconcerting as a guest. Additionally, the twin beds in the room our kids slept in were not fully assembled (headboards were not attached) and were very unstable in general. There is an adjacent unit and despite the folks staying there not being particularly loud, we could clearly hear conversations, coughing, doors closing, etc. Location is convenient to the trolley, restaurants and shops. Parking was convenient.

This listing was the perfect home base for my husband and I to explore NOLA with our teenage son. It was clean and comfortable, in the beautiful Garden district, and convenient to downtown and the streetcar when we wanted to venture out! Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended!

Gem near Magazine
Wonderful location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants! Home was clean and beautifully decorated in a true New Orleans vibe. We spent many hours out on the deck enjoying the NOLA weather. Kitchen was very well stocked and all passwords worked well for Wi-Fi. Hosts Michael and Marcia was very responsive to any questions and were available for any issues. We will definitely be back!

Quiet but convenient location
Great property as described in listing. Loved the location. Quiet, yet still close to everything. We mostly walked but also easy to catch an Uber. Just my daughter and me—felt comfortable walking around Magazine St. Entrance to property is like the back of some restaurant/storage spaces. We were fine with that and felt safe but wanted to call that out. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. Would stay again!

Beautiful architectural details in this apartment. Ceiling medallions, 14 foot high ceilings, crown moldings. Great location within steps of funky shops and restaurants on Magazine Street. Would highly recommend it.

Comfortable, Close, Cozy Stay!
Our condo experience was perfect! Michael and Marcia reached out and were accessible to us, but we didn't have any issues that needed resolution. The check-in experience was smooth - we were able to park right at the door the entire time - we were grateful, as the parking around the property seemed pretty full. The condo itself was well stocked, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The living area with couch and chairs are charming and older, so not the most comfortable, but we still spent some time in that space relaxing. I picked the spot because I wanted the Magazine St/neighborhood experience and it was perfect! The quarter was a short uber away, or a walk and a trolley-car trip away. But Magazine St was fantastic! Overall, great experience with the condo and I'd definitely stay here again. Thanks, Michael and Marcia!

Very nice place in great location
If you don't want the busyness of the French Quarter but want to be able to walk to shops, restaurants, and coffee shops, this is the place! You can easily take ride shares to anywhere in the city or walk to the street car on St. Charles Ave. A few people commented on noise from the restaurant below, but we never heard anything. We had a minor problem, but the hosts were quick to respond. Overall great stay.

We loved this place!! It was beautiful inside, walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and coffee in the morning. But far enough away from the late night activities that we could rest and get peaceful sleep. We will definitely be back and stay longer.

Both my husband and I stayed for 10 days to enjoy Jazz Fest & Nola. The bed was comfortable, a little tight because we are used to a King and it's a Q. We managed. Primary & 2nd Bedroom are spacious & so are the closets. Bathroom is comfortable, great lighting, a little tight between the shower & toilet, had to be extra cautious getting in/out. Walking distance to fabulous restaurants. Safe neighborhood, no problems with parking our rental. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this rental.

Great communication
Location and apartment was lovely. Due to no fault of the owner, the air was not working. They were quick to respond and get us moved to another property. My husband also left a bag and the owner graciously mailed it back to us. This owner is amazing and I highly recommend this and their other properties. Very clean. Great decorations. Lovely visit!
